First Hotel Social

OK. It all started with my wife and I going to strip clubs and her wanting to play with the bi idea for herself. Then we went to the Trapeze Club in Atlanta a couple of times. Tonight 11/20/04 we are going to our first hotel social. The flyer says hospitality suites and ballroom for dancing. How should my wife dress and what should we expect? Is it anything like the Trpeze Club only in hotel suites or what? We have not swapped or anything, mainly like the girl on girl with me and others watching. Ok with touching and playing around but not uet into swap.

It's hard for me to say what you should wear or expect, as these events are all different. Something sexy, but not too risque should do, however.

Have you called the organizers to ask them? I'm sure they'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

Oh, are you playing with the Atlanta club? Atlanta United Swingers I think it was. We were members when we lived there and went to several of their hotel parties. This was 10 years ago, though. Still, I wouldn't expect it to be very different.

They take a floor of rooms (you did get a room, didn't you?), and put security at the floor entrances so you can't get in unless you're in the club. They also take a ballroom downstairs with the same restriction.

There'll be a dance in the ballroom, with lots of flirting, hot dressing, groping, acting-up, and generally getting rowdy. Participate or watch, as you please. There will be lots of social interaction among the tables, and you'll soon see how that works with this group.

Be aware that there are folks who "prey" on newbies. I don't mean that in a bad way, really, but they'll watch the door and hit on the newbies. They have sweet talk. I find it a little distasteful, but swinging is about live and let live and taking responsibility for your own actions, so...

What to wear? Something very naughty with something not quite so naughty over it and something barely legal over that. Peeling down during the dance is a big part of the fun. For some couples, the dress-up and erotic dancing is their main thing.

Anyway, the dance will end around 11 or so, I think, and then there will be a "hospitality suite" upstairs. Folks gather there to munch, drink, hook up, etc. There will often be a vendor or two who take a room near the suite to sell lingerie, toys, etc.

At the dance, during the dance, after the dance, people will be hooking up and heading to their rooms. There will sometimes be folks who do the "open door" thing, but usually it's closed-door. Many folks will be playing with the folks they usually play with, which is to be expected for a local hotel party. Point being, if you want to get laid, you're going to need to make that happen somehow; it's not automatic.

They're a lot of fun! Just don't necessarily expect "an orgy" unless you're pretty good-looking and go looking for one.
