Going to our 1st Gathering and 1st Dance

Thank you so much Swingers Board for all the help in forums and etc!!! After my wife being so nervous and thinking that she should not try because of self conscious, bouncing back in forth about going to a dance or plain gathering. This board and all it's information as removed enough fear for her to want to go.

I took your suggestion as to not to push her and let her discover everything at her own pace. I hope it works out for the both of us because this totally new. Our agreement is to go and try to have fun and not sit in a corner like suggested and see what happens.

I would like to thank this board and everyone who answered our questions. I will let you know how it goes.

These are the results of our first dance. We went to the Fantasy Dance Club in Fresno, Ca. last night which was there Halloween dance. My wife and I had a super time. We met up with some people that that I met on the Swing Lifestyle site. They introdouced us to several people of all ages. We danced and drank a little and of course people watched. I was so worried about how my wife would take everything. She enjoyed it very much and is wanting to go again. We did not swing, but had a barrel of fun.

I would say we were in the average of the ages. 50 or 60 percent of the people that we were introduced to were our age. They were not as drunk as the younger ones and seem to be having a blast. Several of the couples we met knew we were total newbes and the women would talk with my wife to make friends and tell her to take it at her own pace and have fun. There husband would with me and tell me what was happing. They all made us really feel like we knew them all. There were over a hundred people at the dance. I went to the review section and filled out the review for the Fantasy Dance Club.

I plan on keeping the board up as we progress into the Lifestyle. One point I forgot to bring up is that we did not party be our first time.

Please let us know how you make out going forward, It would be great to compare notes. Were going to take it a step at a time and keep going forward. Don't let anyone push you both into anything. Good luck!!

Hello Everyone,
Here is our latest update:
This past weekend we attened another dance and it was great. We met various couples and were accepted with welcome arms by everyone. We were still on the very nervous side. We were invited to join a group at there table that we had met on the internet. We ate and had a few drinks and dance and dance. I was still worried about my wife but she supprised me and was really getting into it with one of the guys from our table. Then came the Lap Dance, Oh by the way this was a PJ party and we dressed for the occasion. Back to the Lap Dance it was wild both for her and my self. They are never long enough!!!! LOL It is the best turn on that I can think of if everyone is into it. After the Lap Dance everyone continued to dance and have fun. About a 1/2 hour before the music was schedule to stop various groups of people were heading to the Motel in the same parking lot. A three some at the table invited us to go to there room for drinks and what ever. My wife who shys away from stuff like this said were going. She was very hot for this guy and I like the women that was with the Couple. We all had hat we wanted and it turned out so great that everyone wants to get to get together again. We all went solid for 3+ hours. By wife and the other guy would watch us and we would watch them and it was better then expected. We are offer being afraid now. On the way home we spoke about it and discussed the various aspects and by the time we arrive home we could not wait to have sex again. We were various about our age and shapes and so forth, now all our fears in this area are gone. At the dance there were just a handful of ken and Barbies, The rest were people likes and were having a great time. Sorry for this being so long winded. That is the jest of it.
