| Active Member | We have been involved the lifestyle for a year or so and have been to quite a few clubs in different cities as well as one local social... One thing that almost all clubs have in common is a dance/party atmosphere. Although, we don't have a problem with that environment, we thought we might also enjoy meeting couples in a setting where it was much easier to have conversations and get to know prospective playmates... While searching the club listings in our area (Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas) we found only one club that fit the description. Which begs the question... Why aren't there more? We can't be the only couple in our area interested in a more relaxed, conversational venue..... It doesn't even need to be a huge gathering, maybe 6 or so couples getting together once each month or two. Does anyone have experience organizing such a thing? Any suggestions or potential interest? J and H BTW, November in Tulsa sounds like a great idea! |

The food in Belgium is better though Many of them have pools and hot tubs as well so there's lots of places to have a chat (or a cuddle!). (Though most have big signs - NO SEX IN THE POOL!) Stephan |

The parties we have been to were lots of fun but most of the time it was loud and very hard to talk. We are very interested in getting together with like minded folks in a quiter venue. |

| Club Owners | We help with such a group down here in San Antonio called The San Antonio Pervs Dinner Group. Basically the group gets together for dinner at a restaurant for a social meet & greet. No rocket science to putting one together. Just make an announcement and form one. Interestingly, that's basicaly how we started our swingers club, Player's, by hosting these meet & greets so watch out!

I have noticed that the quieter the restaurant, the higher the price, but I think it's well worth it. Besides the food is better. We went to a club in Dallas that was so loud and conversation was so difficult that we didn't even try. Of course, they were having gay night that evening, so we may have gotten a wrong impression. Piano bars used to be very common. What happened to them? Mr. Alura
