Crying after orgasm

Is it normal for some women to cry after orgasm? recently was with this female that would cry after every orgasm....honestly thought something was wrong

Normal . . . ? I don't know, but I've been known to shed a few tears during a particularly intense orgasm.

Long as the lady is genuinely happy/having a good time, I don't see a problem.

I don't think it's "normal", but there have been times when I've cried either because:

1) I had a REALLY intense orgasm and I just started crying...apparently the part of your brain that deal with orgasms and tears are geographically close and an orgasm can short some circuits.

2) It was with a significant other and it was a particularly touching/emotional sex session.

On a day to day sexual basis though, no, I don't think crying is normal.

Normal? No don't think so. But it is possible that it is normal for her. Brain is one complicated mistress, she's bound to get some wires crossed.

"Normal" is tossed around too loosely, since it implies that there is an "abnormal" which suggests some kind of problem. This question about crying is better phrased as "usual" vs. "unusual" or "rare".

In my experience--and it is reflected in post above--crying after an orgasm is pretty rare, but it is "normal" for the women who do it.

You gotta love a woman who cries when she is that happy.

On occasion I have cried after an orgasm. The first time it happened was a surprise to me and I understood it because of how I felt, which was unbelievably happy and overpowered by the experience I had just had. It was a wonderful feeling and I handled the situation by telling my partner just that. He smiled and I was smiling too. I can cry and smile at the same time.

I would suggest to any woman who has this experience to accept it and let their partner know what's happening to them. Hopefully she will be crying because she felt as wonderful as I did. Once her partner knows they will feel joy in the experience too.

Hi there, in response to this topic I am one of the "criers" and would like all the other women out there that do cry after an orgasm to know that I for one think that this is normal, at least for us. I have never been one to really let myself relax enough during sex, (too many hangups about myself) but when the situation is right and I can let go then...let the waterworks go!! This is something that turns on my hubby because he knows that I am really enjoying myself and letting go and having a good time. I'm glad that there are more women out there like myself and to know that "We Are Normal".

When I saw this it made me think about having a good laugh. Remember the last time you laughed so hard you were crying with tears? I think it is the same thing, but in a different type of pleasure.

The brain is a complex organ and sometimes this causes unusual actions. One night at a club my wife and I were playing with two other couples. Only oral. One of the other ladies would get intensely worked up and start having multiple orgasms. We would continue to stimulate her and as long as we did, she would be in an intense state of orgasm until she would start to gag and would come close to vomiting. Of course when she would reach this state everyone would stop. This happened probably ten or twelve times that night.

I've never ran accross a woman that cried from an orgasm. I would probably feel the same way, and from these reactions it sounds like it's not a common occurence.
