Hi, I am not sure if this issue was addressed before however … during ladies play it appears that quite common practice besides “standard oral stuff” is so called scissor position which allows vaginal-vaginal rubbing between the ladies. Concerning STD and female ejaculation I was wondering how risky is this in comparison to oral giving/receiving. HIV would be my last concern at this point because of its thermal instability however vaginal-vaginal rubbing can be sometime even stronger (with possibility of micro damaging the epithelia) than intercourse itself. And did I forget toys ?!Happy swinging Marc |

Female to female STD transmission is pretty low regardless. But most likely it's about the same whether it's vaginal to vaginal or oral to vaginal play. Female secretions are not likely to be able to get inside of another unless there is an open wound. So if you have an open wound you might want to avoid allowing the area where that wound is to contact an area on another person (male or female) that might pass bodily fluides. And if you see an open wound on another person (especially in the genital area) then you should avoid contact with that area.

I wouldn't be so concerned with HIV as I would herpes, HPV, and yeast infections. Though yeast infections are easy to treat, I don't want one if I can avoid it. These are pretty contagious. BTW, the vaginal rubbing you are referring to is called "tribadism", and does not necessarily require a scissor position. 2N |

Hi again.. As far as HPV goes? Did you know there is NO protection from that? Be it from having intercourse with another female or a male? The virus is in, on, and around the genital area...that includes the pubic area...so, even a dentaldam/condom won't help in that regard. As for yeast infections and all the other stuff goes...there's alot of controversy...any of you who are a part of Swing Lifestyle might want to go to the forums on the site. There's actually another interesting discussion on there about this very same topic |
