Default Yeast infections

Years ago my wife before we were married dated this one guy. When ever he gave her oral sex she would develop a yeast infection. Now married 8 yrs she hasn't had one with me at all. But now we are considering swinging is this going to happen again with another male? Does anyone know what might of caused this to happen with that one person?

I've read somewhere that yeast infections, although not lumped in the same category as STDs, can be passed from partner to partner through sex and through oral sex. If the yeast cells are present in someone's mouth, it's called "thrush", and that person can give it to another by performing oral sex on her / him. I'm not sure what the symptoms are when it's in the mouth though.

There could be other contributing factors as well.

I have read that you can actually be allergic to a person's sperm... allergic with one guy but not another... I wonder if that would extend to saliva?

No idea...

Default Dr.Bama says!

Chances are after oral sex there were copious amounts of saliva and vaginal secretions left on the vagina. With this present the yeast may have had the proper environment to replicate and take hold of its new host. Some factors you may want to consider are
1) Vaginal cleansing pre and post cunnilingus.
2) Male facial hair over the lip is trimmed and cleansed
3) Male members have good oral hygiene.

Besides that there are a few dozen ways women contract yeast infections. When all else fails don’t try it.

Yeast infections can be carried by men and can be transferred sexually. It sounds like this guy had one and kept giving it back to her. I know I have had cases where I had a hard time getting rid of one and the dr. suggested that my hubby be treated as well because he might be giving it back to me. That was probably the case with your wife as well.
