When would you consider not using a condom during swinging?

I ask this because we hate to use condoms.

I have rarely used them in a 100% "safe sex" manner - like for oral sex & non-intercourse activities. When it comes to "riding bareback" - that's a judgement call ... I don't like using them... but intellectually, I feel safer the first few times with a new partner (especially if it's a casual-type hook-up) until I get to know them better and trust that they truly are STD free

For oral--to start but not to finish

For intercourse--never.

Yes, yes, we all hate condoms. But that's the price of admission. If you hate condoms, go soft swap and have condom free sex at the end with your own spouse. Otherwise, barebacking is dangerous and there's no way to tell if a guy has a disease. Heck, HE might not know if he's got an STI!

As you will find in that thread, bareback play among swingers is more common that you might think. You won't have any problem finding other couples that share your distaste for condoms.

For us we don't use condoms on a select few. These are couples that we known for years and play often with them. On a new couple or lady we will use them until we get to know them better. As far as oral we never use them. One time I did try to use a dental dam but I started having fun with the dam in other ways that just made us all laugh. The dam was never used for sex. I was able to push a dime through it without putting a hole in it. Works well for a toe puppet (don't ask).
