However, the advent of Herpes sent me searching the internet for information. I have found a few forum/websites that I visit now. Some of you have been researching STD's too, so I thought I should share.... The one I find most valuable and interesting is MedHelp. The link below will bring you to the current posts on the Physicians part of the forums for STD questions. The posters pay $15 per thread for the doctor's advice, but we get to read it for free. The one doctor is from the University of Washington, which is the only lab that performs the Western Blot test for herpes, which is considered the gold standard for herpes diagnosis. The 2 doctors have years of experience and are up on the latest research. STDs Help - Forums and Discussions - MedHelp The other 2 forums I visit are on the American Social Health Association site American Social Health Association - Learn about STDs/STIs and The Herps-Cold Sore Support Forum Herpes and Cold Sores - Sort the Facts from the Fiction I hope you find these sites helpful.
