I can't answer your question, but hello and welcome. I'll direct Mr. Sweet here when he gets home to see if he has any insight.

You might need to call the Dr, to be sure that you have not strained something, or developed some other complication such as an infection. I took the liberty of looking u p some medical info for you, and posted it below.

"The risk of complications after a vasectomy is very low. Complications may include:

  • You may have occasional mild aching in your testicles during sexual arousal for a few months after the surgery.
  • Bleeding under the skin, which may cause swelling or bruising.
  • Infection at the site of the incision. In rare instances, an infection develops inside the scrotum.
  • Sperm leaking from a vas deferens into the tissue around it and forming a small lump (sperm granuloma). This condition is usually not painful, and it can be treated with rest and pain medication. Occasionally, surgery may be needed to remove the granuloma.
  • Inflammation of the tubes that move sperm from the testicles (congestive epididymitis). "

Give it a couple more weeks. It's common for one side to hurt more than the other. I think the medical profession may sometimes filter the expected pain level post-surgery.

I remember my husband googling "chronic testicular pain" about a week after his procedure. Poor man.

A phone call to your doc is quick, easy, free and can provide the peace of mind you need...

It is probably nothing, but an expert opinion is only seven digits away. This is your gear we're talking about after all.

Who's your doctor??? Since when is a call to the doctor's office quick and easy. My Doc is fine, but when you call the office you get put on eternal hold and sometimes just dropped or shunted to voicemail never to be heard from again....like a black hole!! check that, that's another type of doc LOL

Seriously though, when I went through this "vivid" procedure in which the Doc goes "THWACK" to one of my balls to see if I'm numb..........after the first week I was pretty much OK. However there was definitely some sore balls the night after we first got it on again. And then still for several weeks after that depending on how they "got knocked around" or handled their could be a little pain, but nothing serious...for me.

Anyway, as you learn in football and other sports, you play through the pain!!!

Took me about, oh, a week or a week-and-a-half before I was "up to the task" of performing. Was a little sore at first, but it'll go away soon enough.

If you're experiencing real honest-to-God "Oh my God please kill me" pain, then something ain't right. Call your Doc or visit the ER.

But some minor soreness and discomfort is normal. It will pass.

Doctors operate in the same free market economy as the rest of us. Change docs

In my opinion, even a long hold time is far better than sitting at a computer with sore nuts asking people on a swinger's board (where Vick's VapoRub was recently suggested as an "in-place-of" for anal-eze) who you have never met whether you should worry about your junk...

Hurts for a while, My doc sewed the sack to my body, that was the worst part. Why? I have no clue but it hurt like hell until the stitches dissolved and released it down. A pucker factor in the literal sense. The pain goes away after a while just like the chance of making woman pregnant by accident.
