Magnum XXL condoms. Give me a break!

Hello All,
Something happened at a recent party that got me thinking about the extra large condoms. First, let me say that I'm a little above average myself, a little over 7 and about the thickness of a D cell flashlight. I use Crown skinless skin condoms. They have a slimmer than usual profile. They feel more sensitive. I've used condoms like inspiral or Trojan twisted pleasure and found that the extra room in those took away from sensitivity instead of adding to it. XXL condoms are just an ego thing as far as I can tell. The proof of that follows.
One of the ladies at a house party we attend was bragging that she had been with a guy who's unit was so big he couldn't use even the XXL condoms. She claimed that he had to special order super large condoms to fit his mammoth tool.
Everyone was getting as little annoyed with her endless tall tales and inability to shut up and give other people a chance to talk from time to time. Little did she know that she was stepping right into the trap of one of my favorite party tricks.
I pulled out one of my crown condoms, rolled it down over my hand, worked my other hand inside. By this time some of the regular attenders were stifling giggles because they have seen this gag before. I stretched it out and put it over my head with the ring between my mouth and nose. I breathed in through the mouth and out through the nose several times to inflate the condom into a giant diving helmet and said "WOW, not even an XXL would fit? Maybe I should stick my head in there and look around to see if he did any damage."
Ok, so maybe that was mean, but she did stop with the wild stories after that.

Back in the day, one of my health and hygien teachers inflated a condom with an air tank. She then said "Boys if you cant fit into one of these you have a problem". That was one h#ll of a class.

I think XXL is overdoing it a little but from what I understand ( I myself am average ) - it's about how the ring fits on you rather than a condom itself.

They work great for me, I have always had a problem with latex condoms breaking, before those magnums I would even change condoms during extended play for fear of them breaking! I mean one size fits all is kinda goofy, there is a big differants from small to large when it comes to tool size...

That's funny nice_cpl! My mother works at a clinic that gives out condoms, and she's always getting teenage girls coming in insisting they need XL for their boyfriends. She'll give them a wry look, do the same thing (stopping at one arm) and ask "Is he bigger than that?" Too funny.

As far as comfort goes, I think this is the ticket. Mr. Fun likes the Magnum ones better because of the ring part ... but I don't think he buys XXL

I wear Magnum XXL condoms for reasons other than "bragging."

First off, I am above average in size. Regular sized condoms never rolled down far enough for me to be comfortable with. Always, there was about an inch at the base of my penis that was uncovered. I felt that this gap would allow contact that I was trying to protect against and also provide an opportunity for the condom to get pulled off for lack of a better term. This actually happened once. Whether it was size or chance I don't know, but I'd rather avoid it in the future.

Second, it was never the condom itself that bothered me, but the rubber band thing at the bottom that was too tight and cut off circulation. Condoms reduce sensitivity to begin with, adding in numbness was too much.

These are my reasons, not because I'm "too big" to fit in a regular condom, but because the bigger ones just feel better when I have to wear one.

You know, I too have seen the condom over the head trick, but I have to say that from my experience it means nothing. The reason I say that is that when I first started using condoms I noticed that I would quickly lose all sensitivity soon after I put one on. After several bad experiences trying to use condoms my wife and I decided to have a condom experimentation day. She went to the store and bought every brand, style and size of condom she could find and we proceeded to try them all out. It turned out to be a very enlightening experience and we learned a lot about condom fit in the process.

The reason it turns out that the brand we had been using didn't work is because they cut off the circulation and actually made my penis turn purple and go numb. The Trojan XXL condoms were just too thick to allow any resemblance to normal sensitivity, so they were rejected too. We finally found a thin condom in the correct size that allows me to feel almost like I am not wearing one and have stuck with it since, with those couples that require condoms.

So, while the premise of this thread is entertaining, I can definitely say that just because a condom may make a suitable diving helmet, doesn't mean it will work for a particular guy for sex.

Oh, sorry I didn't give the specifics. They are Kimono MicroThin Large condoms. It would be nice if they made an extra large as these are just slightly tighter than I would prefer, but they are by far the best of the dozen different brands and types of large condoms that we have tried.
