Using condoms again after 7 years.

Ok guys, need some encouragement. Have not use a condom in something like 7 years because the only person I have been with is my lovely wife. As we are new to this lifestyle I'm concerned about having PA problems the first time I have to use a condom. Anybody else dealt with this concern?

I can see why you would be concerned. Although the feeling will not be as intense as going without, I think they make a lot of condoms that are really sensitive.

Do you normally have any PA issues in regular swinging circumstances? I would think if you don't then you will be ok.

If you are really worried about it before you may have problems due to worrying about it now. You may try viagra or even the female condom if your playmates agree.

I am interested in the others posted responses to your question, too.

He's never had any problems with me! He's just worried that in the moment, putting a condom on might dampen the mood since he hasn't had to do that in so long. I told him we should use them a few times at home so he gets used to it again. Any other ideas for him guys?

Trying them at home with you is a good idea. Mr. Indy thought of the same thing. You would get used to it.

Trying em at home should ease your concerns. When we began our adventure into the lifestyle last year, it had been over 20 yrs since I'd used one with Tammy :rollseyes Can't say as I ever enjoyed them. But now they've got real thin ones that make the older ones seem thick as a balloon.

Can't say I really enjoy em even now, but they are a lot more tolerable. Also....very important here....you'll want a silicone based lube. I've found the water based doesn't last very long and gets sticky, while the oil based can harm the condom.

PA concerns? ...just get liquored up, no problem! Just kidding, honest! Know what you mean...its been a really long time for us, too.

But, as someone else said, the technology has reallly improved. When they say "thin" its not an out and out lie anymore... some are actually quite.....OK. (But, the first person to come out with a really thin, like "don't know its there" condom , will make way more than Bill Gates... after all, how important is a computer??)

Mess with them at home first.... make it the new "normal", get with the right people, and you won't even think about it. And if you need more assurance.... Vitamin C (Cialis)

What I do is put the condom on, then put a lube on it and masterbate a bit. It helps me maintain my erection. This helps especially in a group situation. Once I'm erect, and I penetrate my partner, I'm just fine. But if I have to wait too long to begin our play, I have a problem. So, more lube! a little rubbing and voila!

Would have to say try them at home a couple of times. Your Mrs. is willing to try them and to help you get use to them again which is way sweet. I like every male that has posted dont really like them either but ya know that is the way of the times. Wrap it and make the best of it. Levitra, Cialis, Viagra. they are all good. I have had the PA problem before and just sort of relaxed did more foreplay and then went at it again, it helped. Good luck. D

I to have some problems at times with condoms it was 18yrs since i used condoms with the mrs.. best thing to do is try different styles untill u find one's that you are comfortable with

Thanks to all of you for your encourging words. First trial run last night went with flying colors. Didn't like the feel of it on but, had no trouble getting it on to keep performing for the wife. Maybe trying a different kind would help with feeling. I will keep praticing at it to make it feel more natural when having put one on. Thanks

Try Okamoto Crown condoms. They are pretty thin, conduct heat, feel almost natural.... well, at least for a condom. You can get them online, or even on e-bay if you can't find them in a store. (For some reason they aren't imported into Canada, you might have more luck where you are.)
