I did it! Had my vasectamy

I was scared to death but went through with it, had my vasectamy 2 days ago. I took everyone's advice and made it so much easier. I took a valium about an hour before and was a little relaxed.........considering what was going to happen. I used the frozen peas as others suggested also, great advice. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and I'm feeling pretty good now. Can't wait to try out the equipment but am not quite sure how long to wait.
My wife has had such a hard time with birth control and now things should be so much better for both of us.

Was not worth all the stress and anxiety was it? Glad things went well. I think you can test out the products when you feel better and up to it. My hubby's Dr. did tell us to take precautions for a while until they recheck, those little swimmers are still in the tubes for awhile.

As Southern Lady pointed out, and no doubt your doc did too, you can be shooting sperm for a good while after a vasectomy. Your doctor probably told you what Mr LM's did: Come back after a period of time, ejaculate in a cup, and have your semen tested to make SURE those little wiggly guys are no longer there.

He gave me the cup with the paperwork to take to the lab........said to get tested in 6-8 weeks. thank you.

Ahhhh, The Cup!

No natural fluids including saliva, No atrificial lubes.
Dry and by hand. Not to mention it is hard enough to get aroused knowing you are jerking off into a cup to take to the doctor.

I couldn't do it. Mrs Naughty and I had to cheat a little bit.

To me that was the worst part of the whole experience, other than the needles

I had mine about a year ago. I waited about 2 weeks before having sex. My doc said I could have sex as soon as I felt comfortable. Wearing a jock strap for a week or two helps. Keeps the goods from bouncing around.

I had mine 11 years ago after my son was born the Doc told us 1 in 1000 reverse. I was Lucking 1000 .One month after the Doc told us to stop using birth control my wife got pregant. After to second time she was a little gun shy of going off birth control.

I'm glad you were the one in 1000....guess I'm safe now. Doctor said about 20 ejaculations should clear all sperm, 19 to go............wife was kind enough to give me a careful blow-job the other night (just to make sure it still worked). It took my about to hours to cum, I was so nervous that it wouldn't feel right. It's been one week and my balls are still sore. I look forward to feeling back to normal soon.
