Because we already had enough kids to start a new political party the doc said he would do a 'radical' one taking out more vas than normal (like it made a difference).

My balls got swollen and I could barely walk for a couple of days. Only thing close to hurting that bad down there was having a hernia operation about 6 months later. Guess I have sensitive equipment or something. They do vasos on outdoor tables in Thailand and the men go back to work the next day - some the same day.

And where other guys say they have no change at all in discharge, my own decreased noticably. I have to go 2-3 days now to build up the discharge level I used to have twice a session when inclinded. The 'normal' volume dropped enough to bum me out until I got used to it. On the upside, now the wife can swallow (large shiteaten grin).

But by-and-far I have talked to more men who had no ill effects (or lied) at all from a vaso. Then again, in elementary school they told us slaves would have their babies in the fields and return to work the same day. Ahem...

Mine was 16 years ago and a piece of cake. I left the office and went to pick strawberries for a church fair. No Peas or ice.

My surgeon was an older very experienced one recommended by my GP. The tugging and cutting did feel a little odd, but that was the worst of it.

Mr. Midnight got one for a anniversary present after our last child...knowing the man as well as I did I told the Dr. to put him to sleep. I had no qualms in knowing he would run screaming from the office if it was attempted to be done under a local. As it was he was sweating bullets I told him that the 2 C's I had for his off spring were worse then a clip and snip...so he was knocked out, the worse being a girl he went to school with doing the post op...but he did have swelling...the worse the Dr. said he had ever seen... and he had been doing it for a long time...no real idea as to why he did have the swelling, but he did. He never went back for any tests though, said if it was meant to happen it would happen...been 8 years and I am all clear so I would say it took very well.
Consdering the pain a woman has to go thru to have the same done, it is really low on the scale of pain.
Now though because of our change in lifestyle I am thinking of getting clipped too...will all depend though since I have had so many stomach surgerys already...

Did you have to make sure everything still worked? Mr. Indy did that the same day. We got home from the doctors I got him nestled on the couch and went to rent movies. When I got back he informed me it still worked.

My Doctor recommend I "spank it off a couple of times" in order to "clean the pipes out"... to clear out sperm still in the system.

That was it...I had this fear that it wouldn't (for awhile), but knew that it shoulda worked. The doc had said something like NO SEX FOR A WEEK! I could handle not doing Fem D for a week but NO SEX? I had to find out, if for no other reason than to tell everyone that it wasn't as bad as the doc predicted.

I must say though that you guys are something else to actually plan an event like that, even if hubby couldn't wait to see what you would bring home. Had you planned on a porno? A comedy? Cruel! AND What if it hadn't worked? Yikes!

My Doc told me to wait at least a week before trying ANYTHING that involved bringing my member to his happy place.

So I did.

When I did, I didn't go the self gratification route (Read: Masturbation).

Mrs naughty and I went at it like wild animals.

All worked as it did before.

One thing I did not mention about the procedure itself was apparently it was intern day.

They told me to show up an hour early for a valume if I wanted one, which of course I did.

I took my meds and headed into the room.
The Doc comes in and asks me if I want to watch...

So they put a blue sheet up about half way down my chest, then "They" walked in.

There were about 7 or 8 other people in there to watch the "Procedure".

One of them was a woman doctor that Mrs naughty knew from church.

After the Doc gave me the shot in the nuts he asked "Do you feel anything?"

I said "No". He said "Good, I must have gotten the right spot because I am squeezing your nut right now."

All the "Interns" thought that was pretty funny and Proceeded to laugh at me.

They stationed a guy in a chair by my my head (The one connected to my neck ) to talk about fishing, the weather etc....

While the rest of the other 9, or so, people focused on my package.

Thank God for the Valume!!!!

believe it or not they were doing them back in the 60's. it was 1967 i believe when i got mine at the woman's hosp in ann arbor mi. (planned parenthood). went great the only bad thing i remember was to me it felt like a kick in the nuts, but only lasted like a tenth of a second. then about 6 months later my wife (1st) had to have a hysterectomy (what luck). this was all well as after the divorce in the early 70's i was able to be the whore that i was without fear of more little crum crunchers.

After our fourth child, my wife had her tubes tied, and asked me to have a vasectomy. That was seven years ago. I finally went and had the proceedure done last december. The proceedure itself was abreeze, but the discomfort afterwards was a bitch! A month later and I still tell mrskds1 that it feels as though I've been kicked in the nuts. Had mine about 8 years ago. My wife even helped out during the procedure. She's really into medical stuff & asked the doc if she could watch & he said sure. While he was working away, he had her hold things for him, etc along with the nurse. She had a great time. I, on the other hand, didn't! I was sore for several days and of course I was watching a medical show on TV a couple days later and one of the people on it ended up having testicular cancer, which made things start to throb some more (all psychological, but still HURT!). Doc said he had ended up digging deeper than usual to get everything done & said there was the possibility that I had 2 tubes on 1 side & might need another snip, which just added to my uncomfortibility. But once things settled down after about 3 days, I was good to go & have had no problems since (no 2nd tube on 1 side ). Glad I had it done!

Okay, first of all...if it hasn't been said before....do not forget to keep your legs elevated when you go to sleep for the first few days!

I was awakened the first night after my vasectomy to incredible agony. My scrotum was so swollen I thought I might have to buy a bowling ball to explain why I needed a sack that large. It was no fun to say the least...LOL

Also if you have children....be very afraid. My oldest son hit me in the nuts less than a week after the surgery....it still brings tears to my eyes when I think back on it now...

Hold on....getting a tissue....

Okay....whatever you do...be kind to yourself after sugery...if need be...wear a cup..ROFL
