I did a lot of research on the topic, needless to say! Yes, it is possible to spread herpes even without an outbreak present. Beware, some forms of genital herpes can be deep inside the woman's vagina, and are not visible from outside. Therefore, your safest bet is to ALWAYS USE A CONDOM. It is not as easy to spread herpes if there is NO outbreak, however. I still wouldn't take any chances, if I were you. Now if the GUY has herpes, I can't really say too much there, but I'm sure it follows the same rule of thumb. Just use safe sex always. My ex also used to rule out oral sex whenever she had a breakout (hers was internal and painful, so she knew when it was going on), because I could have got a nasty virus on my mouth and tongue from that! Be safe, but you can still have fun! ![]() |

Therefore, the virus is ALWAYS present. The drugs are for the relief of the infected person, not for protection of the other party! Yes, it is a little more difficult to spread it when there are no outbreaks, but why chance it? It can still happen. If you don't want painful sores on the head of your dick and in your peehole once a month or so, wrap the rascal! |
