A dental wrap is a thin sheet of latex that dentists use while doing dental work. Dentists will use it to isolate the tooth they are working on and expose only the tooth and this will prevent them coming into contact with the patients saliva as it is kept below the barrier. You would lay it over the genitals of a woman so you can perform oral sex without coming in contact with bodily secretions. An |

Hot Momma what you might be thinking of is a Dental Dam... these are used during oral sex being performed on women and keeps you from coming into direct contact with a woman's genitals (thus protecting you from std's). They are commonly used by lesbians and can be found in some adult bookstore/sex shops. A cheap alternative used by many lesbians is saran wrap. Basically you just place the saran wrap over the area that your mouth/tongue would be coming into contact with and lick through it. The sensation is still there but without the direct contact. It would definately take away from being able to taste what you are eating... Luckily tho it's thin enough that it doesn't really take away from the sensation of the person being eaten. It's kinda like a condom.. yeah it might decrease the sensation a little.. but overall it's worth it to avoid possible diseases. Julie http://www.swingersboard.com |

I don't know of many people who actually use dental damns, they are much more common in the homosexual community than in the swinger community (I've never seen anyone use them). You can usually find them at adult bookstores, toy shops.. and I'm sure you can find them online as well. In general, the likelihood of a female passing on an STD is much lower than that of a male passing it.. and if you are that close and can't see the sores or other signs of a possible STD.. then you probably aren't looking very hard. Granted there are STD's that show no signs and can be transferred through bodily fluid.. in this case the giver is more likely to transfer fluids (saliva) than the receiver.. unless the receiver is a squirter... it's not like oral sex performed on a male where he is likely to ejaculate in the woman's mouth (carrying a much higher risk of transferring an STD).
