How to get from MFM to MFMF?

My wife and me have had some MFM encounters, it took us some time to go from fantasy to reality.
We are open with MFM threesomes now, but how would you go about proposing MFMF encounter?

Did that never come up originally? How did you guys get started with MFM? Did she propose it, or you? Either way the best bet is to just ask, but curious what the background is.

If the question is to be asked of your wife:

"Hey, Honey! How would you feel about trying a foursome?"

If the question is to be asked of a prospective play couple:

"Hey, Tom & Mary, How do y'all feel about swinging?"

It takes a LOT of patience, but I feel just being direct is the key. Like the others have said in here. Ask her how she feels about it and don't be shy in saying what your opinion is. If you've been swinging long, you should have built up a communication system where you shouldn't be scared to ask of anything.

Its not all about other woman.
Foursome has more combinations and I think that it could be interesting for us.

It has come up, but we did not talk about doing MFMF.

We first started with pillow talk, it was great start for us because it has opened the door for MFM. We enjoy MFM very much, I just love watching her with other men, seeing her how she is turned on...

It took us a long time to go from fantasy to reality with MFM, about 3 years but it was worth it.

Thats true. Also, for what its worth... I think its worth noting that theres nothing wrong, IMO, with it actually being about experiencing other women. For me, part of agreeing to any sort of alternate lifestyle, was that I would have the opportunity for variety also.

So when you guys were engaging in pillow talk and buildup, was it *purely* about her being with other men? Did you ever come near the idea of another couple, or her with another woman, or you with another woman?

Has there been some reason given for not wanting to do MFMF? Or have you just not really talked about it? If you are having this much trouble talking about a possible new scenario, I'd say you need to re-evaluate your communication in your relationship.
