You really shouldn't "Pre-Plan" who you are going to play with or want to play with at a party because you can be dissapointed...and maybe have bad feelings on account of it if things do not work out the way you "Pre-Planned". Pre-Planning is an expectation. I don't think she was wrong in what she said to you, I think it was good advise. I don't think it was a "Mixed Signal" either. I think she gave you good advise and you took it wrong.
