| Where's the party! | Hello everybody, We recently enjoyed a great evening with some new friends. The next day Laurie was horribly itchy. It was REALLY bad. When it didn't go away after a day we made a very nervous trip to the doctor. We were very relieved when the doc told us that we hadn't caught something horrible. Laurie was just having an allergic reaction to something. We assumed it was the brand of condoms our friends used. Next time we brought our own. Laurie was horribly itchy again. At this point we've eliminated every possible suspect we can think of except the man himself. Has anybody ever heard of being allergic to a certain persons saliva? What should we do? There's always dental dams, but that's an unattractive option. Any suggestions?

Perhaps he uses a soap or cream that is causing the reaction. My ex use to use Axe deodorant spray. The smell never set me off, but if he hugged me, where ever he touched would burn and itch with in minutes. You should look into getting that looked at. I didn't concern myself to much about it but then a few years later just looking at my ex would cause me to feel violently ill. But that might not have been the deoderant. Your friend, Prettylady ![]()

You need to have a specific thing that makes you break out. I would say the most likely thing is a soap, laundry detergent used in the sheets, or something like that. |

She could also be allergic to a type of spermaticide that is found in condoms. Check the packages and make sure that you are using something completely different. |

| Abstraction Distraction | Well, this might sound silly, but have you had sex together (just with Laurie) using the condom? If you do and she gets itchy, that would mean it was definitely the condom and not your friend. Some people are allergic to latex and have to use condoms made of something else.

You mentioned his saliva but as someone else pointed out if it was that it would affect more than just her vagina (unless that's the only place he kissed her). I would think the same thing if it were his soap or other hygiene product. If he's only kissing her vagina and not other places then you might want to examine what he's eating and see if she might not be allergic to soemthing there. Have you used that brand of condoms with other playmates? Or with each other? Is he using any other products on her that might cause the problem? |

| Where's the party! | Laurie and I have used our usual brand of condoms alone at home with no trouble. It's interesting to me that someone mentioned food. She is allergic to green peppers. Maybe... She is also allergic to tobacco smoke. Our playmates who smoke have all known about her troubles and have not smoked for hours before playing. We've never had troubles from that. Mr Itchy is a non-smoker. Thanks everybody. Jeff & Laurie
