Yes, I'm single and have had one swinging experience. The wife isn't into clubs, but has indicated that the hubby and I have her permission to go as a couple if we wish.....Haven't attended yet.

I have not been active in the lifestyle in nearly four years. I didn't expect it to be as hard as it has been, but I did not expect to be invited to parties every other weekend like I was when I was with my ex. I would like to be swinging, but it doesn't break my heart that I'm not.

After a year of practically total celibacy, I am just considering my options. If I pursue swinging, it will probably as in most things in life return what I put into it. It is a question of priorities.

Sounds like you have a good attitude. For me the opportunity to swing is not a right but a priveledge. I have been priveledged to swing with very few and very cautious swingers during my intermittent single spells. Swinging for most single guys doesn't involve getting laid a lot, but it is a lifestyle that often creates swinging couples. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens with you.

I am a single male that has had a lifestyle partner in the past, as well as infrequently attending "invite-only" swinger's parties at a local nudist resort. But to be honest, it isn't really my thing-wouldn't really break my heart if I never participated again.

I like coming here because it's a friendly place. And, in my line of work-that's a really nice option to have at the end of the day....

Im torn between to passions. I will settle on the gal that allows for mutual love, so be that, swinging or not. I kinda lean toward swinging tho.

I used to swing with my wife, than, after we divorced (which had nothing to do with the lifestyle), for a while found I was welcome as a single male with the couples we had swung with before.

Later, with a new girlfriend I was part of a couple again, and after she emigrated, was, yet again, the single male.

I found that although many couples dont like or want the single male, some do, and provided you have the right attitude and are liked, you get some invitations to join in.

Its much more fun as a couple though !

I agree, it's a lifestyle that i look for but if it doesn't come that easy then it doesn't bother me.(been six months since my last experience) I'm still looking for that swinging female partner to have some couple fun with. I’m a single female.
I chose “I swing regularly with pleasure” option.
However I don’t know whether that’s entirely correct of me as I am seeing 2 men for casual sex on the regular bases, but I’m seeing them separately. Even though they are both aware of what’s going on, we’ve never had a threesome. I hope to have a fmf with a friend of her play partner and mine at some stage though.
I’ve also never been to a swingers party or club.
If I had an opportunity to go to a swinger’s party or a club where every one would respect each other’s feelings and boundaries and if some one I know and trust would offer to escort me I would take that opportunity.
If the opportunity doesn’t present itself, I’m happy to carry on as I am.

The poll wouldn't let me make multiple responses either... however, I am single and female, and technically I have never had a swinging experience either, at least in the way I've seen it most described here. I recently had an experience with a bi-F friend who is in an open relationship/marriage. (Again, from what I have read... I think she leans more toward polyamory than swinging.) Have always been bi-curious though, and wondered just how to 'get started.' So, at this point... have been reading a lot, both here and elsewhere, and asking my friend questions ad infinitum.
