My apologies. I missed this post to the thread. How rude of me not to reply.

My search is an educational endeavor. Thanks to the responses I did receive to the original post I continue to ask my questions of couples and singles who approach me. Questions along the lines as mentioned above. But with two changes: I feel less guilt in the questions when I put them forth. As well as if and when they may be poorly received. I have made adjustments to a lighter version if it seems as if I am coming across way too cerebral.

I may miss out on some nice experiences because I am sticking with lots of chat before meeting. (phone, IM, email) But I trust the ones who are comfortable with my "getting to know curve", and see why I "need" the questions will find their way through. As my current play partners have done. In fact, they have gone so far as to support, encourage me, and bring up additional ideas I should consider when making contact with play partners online. They are wonderful!
