Reading Mr & Mrs Naughty's thread regarding Single men and profiles got me to thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to have a thread where single guys can post a link to their SLS profile (or other external profiles/ personal ads on other sites) and let the couples who are interested in single guys review said profiles to give them an idea of how to make it better and more appealing to said couples.

So single guys, here's your opportunity, post your link. And couples, be honest and let them know what you think.

The first thing I noticed is that you have selected yes for meeting single males. I'm glad you explained that in your profile. You also listed yourself as a swapper which I find a little odd since you have nothing so swap. I'm guessing your description was an attempt to be humorous... and to some extent it was but it just left me with a confused look on my face because it seemed that you said an awful lot to say nothing at all. Good thing you have pictures on your profile.

Speaking of the pictures - the ones where you are holding your camera in front of your face, make it look like you are using nose hair trimmers or something. It took pulling up the larger pics and starring for a minute to figure out that you were holding a camera.

Wow. You made sure you mentioned your GROUP at every possible turn, and in every section. Were I in charge of that site, I would have deleted your profile for spam. I imagine you do get a lot more contacts having that in there - from single guys...

Thanks Julie--how did you do that when i wasnt able to? To clarify--Last year Swapper made it aailable to its members to be able to open and run what they called "Group Central"--where we can have themes for groups--and perhaps gather a community of those who share specific intrests---I opened up the goup singles wanna mingle too--which apparently is becoming quite successful, and I am please with the results. I know I do have advertisements on my profile--but that info is only pertain to the specifics of that group--the non adverisements is me--so what you think?

In the section on fantasies and experiences: Do you have any swinging experience? If so, say so. If not, say so. What fantasies have you fulfilled? Which ones would you like to relive? What fantasies do you have that are still unfulfilled? And in all of this, there is no need to be extremely explicit just honest and open.

I agree with everything Julie pointed out. One thing that I think you might want to scratch off your add is this:

"...and don't like getting involved with endless emails."

A lot of couples will want to get to know you a little prior to meeting you. Some readers might make the assumption that you're not into taking some online time to get a feel for one another. Just my opinion.

I also think you need to come up with a better tag line then this.

"another single male but give me a chance"

Your tag line needs to POP since you're a single man. This tag line almost admits defeat before the reader even views your profile. Make it stand out, make it comfortable, make it memorable.... make couples want to check it out.
