Who is most likely to use the power of veto?

When you meet a prospective couple... and things aren't clicking...

granted both partners have power of veto but

which of you is MOST likely to make the decision to remove this couple/person from the list of possibles?

It may come a little more quickly from Barbara, but chances are if the vote was withheld a little longer I would have veto'ed it myself.

Hands down without a doubt.. "ME". Not that Mr. O isn't as particular as I am, however after working through several mistakes on our part (of which two directly affected me), I've learned to go with my instincts and I just happen to be a tad more intuitive than he is.

Therefore, whatever I say...rules when it comes to potential swinging partners, without question!

I believe as women are the ones that get penetrated (well generaly) they are inclided to be more selective about who they invite inside themselves, the good 'ol male will stick his weener in just about anything as long as it looks clean and wholesome.

Sometimes there is no sexual chemistry between us all and we respectfully decline and sorry not tonight. I guess as Tim is quite particular about where he puts it we are about 50/50 for saying no.

Curiously, Greg has never had the opportunity to veto anyone. Every time we’ve experienced a veto, Sheryl has been the one to exercise the option. This reflects the fact that Sheryl is much more selective than Greg.

Agreed. Being male I can find something attractive about 99% of women. My wife on the other hand is very selective about her partners. The longer we have been in the lifestyle the more selective she has become. Also what she finds attractive changes from day to day or even hour to hour. I gave up trying to figure it out and just enjoy the ride.

Curiously, the longer we are in the lifestyle the less selective Red gets! At one time she was adamant that the other guy had to be just right for her. Now she seems to be able to see the good points of most guys (nearly typed "the good bits"!). Certainly makes things easier

She has said that she feels it is potentially riskier (as regards possible and dangerous emotional involvement) if she only chooses those she feels she clicks best with and that makes good sense to me.

At the club on Saturday, I was being flirted with from across the bar by a buxom blonde with large rose on her left breast. I'd run into her earlier and we'd said hello, so I'd gotten a close up view. She was making eye-contact and smiling, but what really got dense ol' me interested was when she slid down in her seat to show that she had no panties on...whew...OK, where was I...?

Oh yeah...the point is that her companion was a rather unkempt man of whom J was not enamored in the least. Truthfully, I didn't like him either, but it wouldn't have mattered. She has the veto (as do I), but she is always the one we start with. If the guy doesn't get her hot and bothered, it's 'game over'.

I found a good dozen that night, but she only found one, if that tells you anything.

We have done just about everything related to the lifestyle in reverse so this would be the norm for us. In the begining the thrill and excitement of being able to have sex with just about anyone she wanted while maintaining a committed relationship caused her/us to choose partners that we probably would not have chosen given more thought. During "slut summer" back in 1999 just about any male/female/couple that showed interest was invited to join us almost immediately. Since then she has slowly regressed to the point that very few people meet her criteria and we only play once or twice a year.
