Default on premise club dress tips for newbie couple

Hi everyone. My wife and I are completely new to realm and just want to first say thanks to everybody who posts because so much is hugely educational, insightful, and heart felt.

Five days ago, I brought up the idea of going to a swing club with her to check it out. I was hit with a iron clad jaw and a "No, no, absolutely no friggin' way" answer. Being prepared, I said that I understood but asked if she would at least read a short article I had found on how liberating it can be, even just to walk around naked and swim naked. After reading the article and talking more over the next day where she shared how much she used to love being naked years before, how sensuous lake water felt when naked, and how she had once gotten naked at a bonfire in front of her archaeology class--only to have everybody else in the class do the same--that she wanted to see what it's like to be in such a venue and be completely free to be naked again.

It's our anniversary in several weeks so I had planned a very nice and expensive day/night out for us and away from our kids. I decided to show her the website of what seems to be a very nice club near Seattle where they'll be having a masquerade party on the same day of our anniversary. Given the choice, she has chosen the club over the other plans I had even after I told her the details the other plan.

She bought a very hot dress yesterday and will get a mask but there are some unknowns that we need help with so your input is welcome.

What do we (for her and me) bring to wear. Dinner will be served first and then what clothing wise? Does she bring extra lingerie, robe? What do guys wear? Specifically, I'm guessing that after dinner and dancing we'll go to the hot tubs and then get out to explore the club. What, if anything to we change into? not that body style has anything to do with the responses but we're both in shape and good looking.

    Thanks so much,
    Sheneg

Your best bet is to contact the club and ask them about what the common dress is for various parts of the night, if there are any restrictions etc. Most clubs are very helpful with providing info on what to wear. You might also find this thread interesting. It's not specific to the club you're going to, but it shows the kind of outfits various board members wear to clubs.

We won't be at that particular party, but I know that club well. It is a very nice place, at least for those of us who are pro-swinging.

Street clothing is not allowed in the play areas and there is a lot of variety in how that rule is adhered to. Lots of women wear lingerie, everything from corsets to nighties, but I prefer a sarong. It's easy to take on and off, doesn't look weird if I wear it to the hot tubs and acts as a blanket if I get chilly after playing. Robes have those same advantages and would be my second choice. I've seen men in basketball shorts and a tank, boxers, robes and pj bottoms. And it's always appropriate to just wander around either naked or in your towels.

If that doesn't give you the information you need, email the club. They deal with questions like this all the time.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. The club has been very helpful but was too general for someone who didn't know what "anything you want" means so this gives a visual. Thanks again.
