For the men..shaving down there

I'm one of those guys who thought I'd NEVER be able to put a razor between my legs. Not me, no how, no friggin way. Just the thought of it would give me the willies.

After some hints from Lovinhim I finally took the plunge and did some yard work down below. Being the first time it was pretty comical and took me about a hour. (blades and balls do not mix). Now that it is done I realize I should have done it a long time ago. As long as you keep up with the shaving every 2-3 days there is absolutely no itching, even less than before. Touch ups take only a couple of minutes. Another advantage is things definitely look bigger. Now I know why porn stars do it and Lovinhim loves it!

So to you guys contemplating this.....just do it already. Everything seems more sensitive now. You will have less itching and your SO will have more to lick/suck without hair in the way and she'll probably spend more time doing it.

Trust me, if I can do it, anybody can.

Do you mean totally bare? Shaving/cleaning up "below" and trimming "above" is great. But bare looks .... weird.

I've been shaving my balls and shaft and trimming "above" for several years. I get an annual physical -- including the testicular-tumor check and hernia check -- done by a GP. During the first few years I went to him for physicals I was not shaven down there, but since I started shaving he's never said anything or otherwise indicated any surprise at my ball-baldness.

I also get a full-body skin exam done annually by a dermatologist since I have fair skin and moles (and increased danger of skin cancer because I rarely used sunscreen in my youth), and I have some eczema and psoriasis. She's never said anything either, but I guess it's easier for her to see the skin without all the extra hair there.

Either way, unless your doctor is just out of med school, he or she has pretty much seen it all. But if your doctor asks you why you shaved there, just give a and tell him or her you did it for Lovinhim. And you can mention you were reluctant at first, but reassured it was safe to do and given recommendations on how to do it by a bunch of swingers you've never met in person.

Now you know why "Living on the Edge" is so great...

I use a Braun 360 complete. Make sure everyting is dry and your fingers travel across your skin without dragging... Then use the razor. It's great. Much better than the Norelco that tore me up before. I would be afraid too if there were no other options. You can use a blade occaisionally, but you really don't need to.

It's the one razor I've found that is safe and works very well.

i've been doing it since i was iin my late 20's and let me tell you that my friends thought i was sick, then one day they would look at me with a really funny grin and tell me, guess what i did!

I shaved below and trimmed above. Either way I think it looks weird, like a plucked chicken but she likes it and I guess that's all that matters. (anything for you baby ) I'm kind of hairy but blond. If I had dark hair it would look a bit odd(er). No offense guys.

Hairy or not, in a few weeks it will look "normal". And if you let it grow back, then it will look weird.

Love it all bare "down there." Won't even start on the benefits! I've been shaving for years and the worst thing was the irritation. If you haven't tried it, the Gillette "Fusion" is the greatest. It doesn't feel like shaving. No irritation and no nicks even on the loose skin of the sack. It feels great. Wanna feel?

Thrax, I'm already at the point where going back to not shaving would look weirder. To me shaven, hairy, trimmed all looks weird. I'm pretty close to my Dr., we talk like buddies would so I'm sure he'll throw a shot at me in a joking way. I'll just say the ladies like it and leave it at that. He has no clue about the swinging and I would rather not go there. I go the Cleveland clinic where everything is computerized and everything relevant is entered right in the exam room. So every Dr there reading my file would know I have multiple partners and I have even been asked that several times for some reason. My urologist is a fine looking woman, for some reason I worry about her seeing it so that might be awkward. Just one of my quirks I gues.

Isn't there anything like hair removal creams that work without irritation?
Seems to me that would be the ideal way.

Never thought I'd go that route but a couple of years ago I decided to check it out. It worked out well after I got over the intial shock of bare skin under the tumble weed.I went thru the usual stuff you deal with the 1st time (razor burn/bumps etc)
The benefits outweight the downers so bare or very closely trimmed is the way to go for me now.

When the hair grows back on the top or on the balls, do you ever get complaints from the female partner that you are stabbing her pubic area with sharp hairs. Whiile I cannot even identify the areas where these hairs are growing back they can tend to stab a well trimmed female area.
