    All i can say is at one club in Grand Rapids..they said they found for women..the 2 top professions were teachers and nurses.
    Guess I chose the right profession....nursing

    I guess we see the people usually at their worst so we get into swinging to see the people at their best.

    I know I have enjoyed it but don't think I would advertise it at work.

    I'm my own boss, so I can't get fired for swinging, but in any job where you deal with the public you basicly have to keep it secret.

    Maybe if we all came out of the closet, had some protest marches, had slogans like ummm 'We swing, its our thing!', and the like we could end the oppression!

    That's interesting, Rhonda. Actually, it has seemed to me that I've noticed a large number of nurses in the lifestyle. Or...I've wondered...nursing is almost like a cult...a very "specific" profession - unlike marketing or business. I mean...when people ask what you do, the answer is, "I'm a nurse." When people ask a marketing person what they do, the answer isn't, as a rule, "I'm a marketer."

    Teachers? I don't know about that one. They deserve it, tho'!! - EBF

    I have heard about these from Lifestyle magazines, What does eveyone think of these? Is it a recipe for disaster to wear them in public around the general population? My wife and I are constantly wondering if couples around us are swingers. How great would it be to be able to tell. I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on this, cause I can see both sides of it!

    I think it is a wonderful idea, until the nanny police find out about it and splash it all over Dr. Phil or Oprah. Then it will be a scarlet letter.
    Sooner or later a religious right will find out and will be busy outing everyone they can lay their eyes on...seen more then one profile where the outing of some of the swing sites online had people printing off profiles and posting them at work and mailing them to friends/family/teachers/churches etc.
    Some people need a serious hobby..like knitting or football on the local interstate.

    I only use an Mac Apple computer and I won't touch a pc. I wonder if that says something about me. I have an Mac Apple logo on my car, Now I know it has a double meaning. If people only knew.

    the funniest thing to me is that I bought one of these exact rings for like $5 at a Sci-fi convention back when I was 18 or so ... pretty funny stuff.

    I still have it and will have to dig it out.
