Default I'm back.... I think.
You might have noticed I've been a little AWOL the last couple of months. I think I'm finally back now or at least well on my way. I had mentioned in a few posts that I was having some medical issues during the summer. It started in June with bad migraines (from TMJ activated by getting braces) and progressed in August with ulcers (caused by all the pain meds for the migraines)... and then added to that my gallbladder decided to stop working. I've spent the last 3 weeks either in the hospital, really sick, and the last week recovering from having my gallbladder out.

The good news is that I ended up having the braces removed and that has reduced the headaches greatly and now that the gallbladder is gone I can eat again.

I'm kind of glad to hear that...

But as a guy with a thing for braces, I must admit, even though it makes you feel better there is an undeniable "glum" associated with that news...

Don't worry, they'll be back. Actually they will be part of the TMJ treatment so they'll be back on within the year, after we do phase 1. I could have left them on and in-active but I didn't trust the work that had been done by the orthodontist that started everything so I decided I'd just start over from scratch when it was time.
