25 Years...

25 years ago today we said "I do"....actually, I think Ted said "Yeah"

, either way it's been a WONDERFUL life and we are looking forward to making the next 25 just as wonderful.

Wow, congratulations Ted and Teresa, doesn't the time just fly, in a couple of weeks it will be 21 years for us. By the way, in my humble opinion, you are as hot today as you were on your wedding day, I'll bet Ted would agree.

Congratulations! It's great to hear how in love you are after 25 years! It's been 20 years for us (almost - this fall) and it gets better every day!

We don't have anything planned for tonight since Ted will be leaving for the week but, we have a trip planned for June (Jamacia ;Hedo II) to celebrate.

We did go to dinner Saturday night to celebrate...it was a rather unusual dinner for us.

I wanted seafood and our favorite seafood restaurant had burned down a couple of weeks ago so we had to find another place to go. We didn't feel like driving very far so went to the small town we live near. We wound up at this tiny, tiny hole in the wall place that used to be a seafood market, now converted to a seafood restaurant. The tables were folding tables, chairs were folding chairs, nothing on the menu was over 10 bucks and there were only a few different things to chose from. Drinks came in bottles and they brought styrofoam cups filled with ice that you could pour yourself and when the food came it was served on paper plates and you ate with plastic forks.

We were laughing so hard when they brought our food...we were thinking...most people would have gone to a really fancy place for their 25th anniversary dinner or at least a place that had real plates and silverware

...it however was some of the best seafood we had ever eaten and it was two doors down from the place that Ted used to take me to eat when we were dating so, it all kind of came full circle for us that night. We had a blast and will definitely go back again.

Congratulations, Ted and Teresa! We had our twenty-fifth on Valentines Day. We learned a long time ago to not go out to dinner on our anniversary so we stayed home and celebrated with the boys. Couldn't have been better!

We're bettin' the next twenty-five will be just as good for y'all!
