Yea it really is amazing stuff. Its been put on wounds since ancient times for that purpose.

Its why you can leave it out, unrefrigerated. Try that with sugar water and see what happens.

If I were a creationist, I'd be touting honey as a 'too perfect' food to be natural (much like they try to claim the banana is). Of course there IS the issue with angry bees

Ironically they are right but only in that its the cultivation and selective breeding of the banana that made them so easy to eat, much like seedless grapes, sweet corn, and pretty much any other major crop.

On the other hand, honey has been pretty much honey since bees have been bees, and while there has been some improvement, its healing properties have been known at LEAST since the time of the Egyptians (they left records).

But still, there is the issue of the angry bees.

Actually, I can tell you first hand that there is a packet sniffer on the network line that looks for certain items, when it sees certain items, the company has a trigger set up.

so, it may see Strohman bread, and then give you a coupon for Italian rolls.

The biggest company is called catalina.

Now, if they do not use that but those little price club cards or whatever they call it, then there is someone that set up a plan for flag certain items and issue coupons based on previous purchases. They want to keep you as a customer.

Let's say, 30 people who also purchased bran X, are no longer shopping at the store, you also buy Brand X, so you may be the 31st person to leave their store, now that you are getting brand X coupons, you won't leave. It goes on and on.
