E-stem as sex toy

I just noticed this on one of the sex toy stores we have:
Sex Toys: Electrosex Deluxe Digital Power Box
and it brought an idea to mind that has run through my head on occasion. I have a "tens" unit (e stem machine) that I originally got for my back and hips and I've wondered on multiple occasions how those sensations might feel elsewhere but have never gotten the nerve to try it. Seeing this "toy" available made it obvious that it wasn't an original idea on my part, and that it must feel pretty good to some, for them to actually market the same basic product specifically as a sex toy.

Anyone else have a tens unit at home that they've considered trying out as a sex toy? Or better yet, have you actually tried it?

The only time I've seen electrodes of any kind hooked up to a mans naughty bits it were in acts of torture in spy/action type movies. Oddly this concept on a volunteer basis just doesn't quite appeal to me.

As I looked at the other "electronic" toys they had, it appeared there was actually one that was a cock cage type of toy with electrodes in it.

Actually Julie, there has been a big things going on about it for a number of years, dating way back to the first few shows of REAL SEX on HBO..

There is a guy in Vegas, the story way back called him, Dante... and he was building more than just the control boxes, but complete chairs and units.. for vaginal insertion as well as other areas..

Look up PES which I think translates into Personal Electro Stim Inc..

And yes.. the unit you have will do much the same, however remember the pads arent designed with pin point acuracy.. it will apply a broader area..

We have a tens unit, tried it on her nipples once. Boy she seemed to like that a whole lot. I just wish I could find a book or a site that gives more info and or directions on placement etc.

That can be a very tricky practice because the electrical signals can pass dangerously close to the heart. I like below-the-waist play.

TENS (Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulator) units have very low voltage, and are used on the upper back and shoulders all of the time. The electrodes lose their "stickiness" quite easily and have to be taped in place much of the time, but they can be cut to size as well.

Never tried it but will have to give it a go since I have a few of these lying around. A good one will not only stimulate but pulse as well but of course those kinds are more expensive.

As far as electrode placement, for theraputic purposes there really is no right or wrong answer as to where they go. Much of their placement is trial and error for medical uses. If you wanted to get technical a book on acupunture might give you some ideas.

the one I have does pulse as well as do the constant stim. Luckily, my insurance pays for it. As for the pads, I discovered as well that insurance covers replacements. I had asked at physical therapy if they had them for sale there and the girl told me there should be a number in my case to call for replacement pads.. and that from what she understood they were free or at least very cheap (based on what other patients had told her). So I found the number and called, and replacements are on the way.... no credit card needed.
