This last weekend we were talking about how next time we head up to Ohio we were looking forward to stopping at the Lyons Den (if you EVER get near OH or KY look for the Lyons Den adult stores). Personally, I have found that they have the best selection and the most reasonable prices on sex toys, etc. So as we were discussing this we were driving around Nashville and lo and behond but what do we see A LYONS DEN! Could it possibly be the same? We went in, it wasn't quite the same, not the same selection but still decent.

So while we were there we bought another glass toy. This is my second as the first one had already become one of my favorite toys. I hesitate to call them a dildo but I don't really know what to call them other than enjoyable. The first one I had bought just had some ribbing around the outside. This new one has bumps all up and down it.... and OH that is SO nice when twisted back and forth while inside!

THese particular ones were from Doc Johnson I think and not badly priced at all... like $30/each. I know there are some higher end lines out there with more dramatic shapes and such, but these work just fine and the glass feels so good on my clit when it's cold!

We have several of the glass "dildos", all different in shape, size and texture and I love them. Actually, my SO collects them..but I agree Julie, they do feel so good on the clit when they are cold!!

I've always been fascinated by glass dildos. They come in such pretty designs. But I don't know that I'd get anything out of something hard inside me. I've tried flexible dildos and got nothing out of them and tossed them out.

If I did get a glass dildo I'd be inclined to keep it above my sink on the window sill so the sun could shine through it.

Oh dear god I must tell you about our S Wand. It is glass made by a fellow here in Canada and it is shaped like an S (as the name indicates). I see them in the porno shop as they are on display. Its kind of hard to miss them as they are the first thing on display. I bought a "Triple Play Pleaser" on the recommendation of my sister. When it finally arrived I was excited, but that excitement soon turned to disappointment. For me the glass is just too hard and I didn't like the cold feeling. I even tried to warm it up in hot water, but who wants to stop during the middle of play just to warm up a toy?

That is another thing I love about them. As for the cold, mine came in a padded bag that keeps them from being too cold, usuallyjust enough chill to feel good. But you can also warm them in the microwave if you want them warm.

After we bought my first one it took me a while to "warm up" to it, because of the hardness of it. But since I've found that they can be great when used right.
