I was at a sci fi convention one time with my infant daughter. I was in the exhibit hall admiring these odd glass sculptures. I wondered what they were. I thought they might make an interesting conversation piece, but I wasn't going buy one. Then I started looking at the other things in the booth.

I didn't recognize them even though I have one in my bedside stand.

So can I ask...how fragile are they? I have seen pics and read reviews (both good and bad) but I would be nervous that I would break it inside my wife (especially if we were really going at it) and the last thing I would want is shards of glass inside her (or me for that matter.)

Unless you are banging her with a hammer, it wont break. Many of them are made of Pyrex, the same thing your mixing bowls in the kitchen are made of. You know how strong those are.

The ones I've got are very thick and sturdy I can't imagine them breaking short of smashign them with a mallet.

Heating them up in a sink full of warm water is the way to go. Natasha still prefers the softer ones though.

We only buy glass now, and currently have 4 glass toys. Bunny has a problem with the latex and other soft materials as she has a bad reaction to them after they have been used a month or two. The glass is so much easier to clean also. As for wories about them breaking, she has had her favorite for well over a year and it has traveled all over and to the clubs without any problems. I have to agree it would take wacking one with a hammer to break it. We were at the local adult store the other night and found a couple more we want to get. We just have to wait a couple weeks till the budget gets caught up.
