as I mentioned in another post, Nina Hartley's into to swinging and swinging in the U.S.A are good movies for nubie swingers are if you are curious about swinging, are there any other good movies

I got some of these videos for "educational" purposes for the Mrs. She really didn't care for them. I am still looking for a movie containing a real plot that portrays the Lifestyle in a fun, mature manner.

There was one about "Sex with Strangers". I don't know if it still available. It was an HBO(?) special. Google.

We have a copy of The Lifestyle: Swinging in America. Our official review: "Eh".

While it does present swinging in a positive light, it does so in a detached, almost clinical matter. I'd say about 85% of the movie is a fixed forward shot with people talking about the lifestyle. It's almost like watching court testimony.

That is actually an apt description... imagine C-SPAN did a show in swinging.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but there is a pretty entertaining movie about swinging (well, sort of - LOL) called "The Sex Monster" that stars one of the Hemmingway sisters (sorry but I can't keep them strait). The message of this morality play is anti-swinging but whoever made it is definatly a swinger because it really shows a many of the positive cvonsequenses of the lifestyle.
Don't know if this is what you are looking for but it is well worth watrching.

Is the "swinging in the usa" movie you mentioned the one where the couple wins a contest at a club and get to go to LA to be in a movie and do all the porn stars?

If so...yeah, it was a good movie but I couldn't in good faith say it was particularly good for learning about swinging. Maybe swinging in a fantasy type way.

I own this movie and do like it. I was hoping it might help inspire hubby. Nope, quite the opposite. Not that he didn't enjoy it. He did....very much! And I got to enjoy his enjoyment..

. But it didn't help change his fear that swinging is all about beautiful ppl having porn sex.

There was a bit in there that could be called educational but mostly, just porn sex. Loved it though! lol

Eyes Wide Shut is the only one I can think of, though "swinging" is not the main theme.

Maybe someone will make a good one someday. They'd certainly sell alot of copies!
