Would you rent a Sybian??

Being the forever entrepreneurs, we did some research in the field of buying Sybians and renting them out. Marketing has been a bit difficult, but we have targeted the usual Swingers, Erotic Services Community, etc...

Now, some peoples' initial reaction has been "ewww" but let me explain. We do not rent any of the insert-able attachments, they must be purchased separately, and they are yours to keep for future rentals. We use a hospital grade disinfectant (Sporicidin) and shrink-wrap the units between rentals for the protection of all involved.

We market toward the benefits of healthy orgasmic sex, and how it will enhance your relationship, or make a party of 1 or more a real Party, if you know what I mean...

Just wondering, for those that have used one or those that haven't but want to... what would entice you to rent a Sybian, how much would you be willing to pay for rental, and would you spend $1400 for one of your own??

one of the clubs we visit has one. you can bring your own attachment or, they have attatchments available. and yes like you valarie, things are kept very clean.

renting one for a house party would not be out of the question.id be thinking probably 50 bucks plus deposit from our local porn store.

as far as buying one , mrs.fun handles our finances she has bought me a new truck,a camper and a new boat motor.i cant hardly ask for anything more than chump change for now

We don't think we would ever rent one. We just can't get past the part where othe people have gotten there "juices" on it. I am sure it woulde be cleaned very well by you guys, but it still feels "dirty" to us. Good luck to you with your business adventure.

I don't think we would ever rent one but I do wish you luck. We have them in 2 of the clubs we visit (they are kept very clean, btw) but since we can play with it in a club, there's no need for us to rent.

What would I expect to pay? Probably around $150-$200. I often rent equipment in my day job and the rental fees are usually around 10% of what the item is worth. (Am i getting ripped off???)

This is one of those issues where logic doesn't matter.

Its not that I wouldn't doubt it was clean, but there would still be an 'eww' factor.

As a possible consumer, the logistics doesn't seem to add up unless I was to rent it out for a big party. I wouldn't pay the $1,400 to own one and $140 in rental fees for a night may not seem that steep but you would have to pay for seperate attachments for each of the ladies (unless they wanted to share?) and I understand that they run about $50 each. But then the ladies are stuck with attachments that they can't use at home. So I guess it would only make sense for a big club to rent them for a special occassion and to try to get a discount on the individual attachments.

Thanks for all your input on this... we have had 2 rentals so far, and one has been for a BDSM get together (I never considered the 'control factor' in that part of the lifestyle...) and the other a small house party.

Both have purchased either 1 or 2 attachments, and they do plan on renting again. One called and asked if they could keep it for another night, if it wasn't rented for the following evening...

I guess I understand the 'ewww' factor, but if a club has one there for you to use, I would think that the 'ewww' factor is heightened a bit, unless they sterilize after every rider...

I spoke with a woman over the weekend that rode one at the Las Vegas Convention last year for $10, on the convention center floor... that was a bit 'ewww' for me ... they just put a condom on the attachment and let ya have at it...

I wouldn't rent one for just my personal use. But if I was in the position of having a house party, I would consider renting one. I don't get the 'ewww' factor from it. I'm sure that its cleaned well, and buying the attachments would put me at ease.
