what is the best lube for anal sex?

my girfriend and i have tried to have anal sex a few times using ky, is there anything better? after trying a few times i finally got the whole way the other night but she said it burned so i stopped. weve tried a few times before and this was first time i got in. im well endowed and she has a small little ass. any pointers from anyone?

We use either WET Platinum or WET Original. KY has that new warming stuff - for god's sake - don't use that for anal sex. It's nice for slight warming on nipples and clits but feels like hell in the butt

Are you using KY liquid or jelly? The liquid is worthless for that activity. We use the jelly for anal and it works just fine - but use a lot!

we were watching talk sex with sue a few weeks ago, and a caller asked that question. she recommended a lube called anal lube, said it is available at u'r local sex shop. she seemed to frown on the use of ky for anal. hope this help. good luck

We use WET Platinum also. When we first tried anal, I hadn't done any research about "heavy duty" lubes and we tried Astroglide, if I recall. SO not good enough, and I was ready to swear off anal, it hurt so bad. I read all kinds of reviews online about heavy duty lubes and decided to try WET Platinum, and it was magic! Still a tight fit, but a fit. Since it's not water based, we can use it in the tub, too.

WET-Platinum, Pjur Eros Bodyglide, Pjur Eros Light Love Bodyglide, ID Millenium, ID Velvet, Swiss Navy, Sliquid Silver and others.
All are Silicone based.
They are the good ones for "Heavy Duty" lubrication.

Water doesn't phase them.
BUT beware, a little goes a long way.
They say it washes off easily......think about it though, if it stays on in water how "easy" is it gonna be to wash off??
It ain't, even with lots of soap.
Don't get it on the floor either it will make ANY surface slick as ice.
EVEN carpet ...DON'T ask.....
It doesn't really "stain" BUT, it makes "darker" spots on clothes, sheets etc.
BUT even with it's downfalls, we still use it almost exclusively.

I have always been a fan of Eros Bodyglide but have since changed my mind for the very reasons Mrgomer mentions. I'm tired of seeing those spots reappear on my light carpet, despite repeated washing!

And once the non-water based Eros gets on your hands (which it will of course) and you touch any furniture (especially dark wood or painted surfaces) it has to be cleaned immediately or the fingerprints remain.

I have recently discoverd Liquid Silk - a water-based product - and am very happy with it for all my lubrication needs.

You might want to give that a try.

We use JO. Very, very expensive, but you only have to use a very small amount. Latex condem campatable too. A couple we met at a swing convention turned us on to it. And it does not stain carpets, sheets and the like. Trust us ... it even says it on the bottle too
