We, too, have been considering purchasing one of these swings. I have fibromyalgia and can't go too long if I am doing all the pumping on my knees when we're doing doggy style, Liz's favorite position. Exhaustion sets in quickly with fibro

We DO have a great place to use it though... in our basement, which is not yet finished, which means no one would even consider asking about the eye hook

Presumably, you'll have some sort of bat pole arrangement, leading directly from the bedroom to the basement.

~~This has been the only reason we haven't decided to buy one!!! H (female half) has been strongly hinting about buying a swing for at least several months now...

Mich149's suggestion sounds viable. We'll just have to keep a 12' ladder around to reach the insert!!

I installed an inexpensive 110v hoist from Northern Tool in the ceiling joists, cut a 12x12 hole neatly, installed the hoist, installed a 12x12 a/c filter grille over the hole,,,,to anyone it is just an a/c grille in the ceiling,,,,no one knows the diff, ,,,,,except now all of you of course

just lower the access door as if to change a filter, reach in and grab the remote,,,lower the cable, hook on the swing and you have a fully adjustable swing,,,,,to anyone else,,,it is just an air grille


we have tried the strap type swings, but in time they can get uncomfortable,,,,the swing we use and prefer is a hammock type and here is where we bought ours;

we both love it! and wish we could play in it all day everyday!

BTW, the hoist was about $70,,,,the grille about $25.00,,,,the install time,,,,,about 1.5 hours,,,,,,,,,,,,and compare that with some of the chessy made stands out there! and with a hook only,,,,,height is not easily adjusted,,,,,,with the hoist,,,,,,raise or lower as you play to the ideal heights!

We thought about that as a solution while we were reading some of the posts, but couldn't think of an appropriate way to describe the process. We're glad that you have already done so and shared it with us... save for a little electrical work, it can't be much simpler than that!
Um... if we visit East Texas, mind if we drop in for a demonstration or a road test?

We've only had time to use ours once since we got it, due to the remodeling crap going on, but Bunny loves it. The only problem I've had is I think I had it too high, and as I would be standing there fucking, my thighs would be squishing my balls, which is rather uncomfortable. However, I'm sure this is just a matter of tweaking the thing.

We have an industrial-strength eye bolt in the ceiling for it. The remodeling contractor installed it for us. The bolt is rated for 2500 pounds, and with the way he installed it, we could probably hang our car from it. We tried several eye bolts from Home Depot, etc, but none were long enough. So our contractor found this one. We had to put a secondary buckle through the eye bolt to actually hang the chair from, since the eye was so thick.

As for what to tell our straight friends and relatives, the story is we are putting in a regular hanging chair (which we picked up at the local Renaissance Festival a few weeks ago) which will be part of our new bedroom suit when we get it.

We got ours at Just a Swinging as well, although we dispensed with the electric winch...

That must be a really cool construction guy, if he installed such an industrial bolt... he pretty much HAS to know what it really is for!

We finally got to try a swing a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. My stomach mucsles we killing me for a week after but it was so worth it. And the upside down bj is the best way to do it....

I did end up telling the contractor the truth about it. He's a good ol' boy from around here about my age, so it wasn't that difficult. Besides, when I initially asked him to install it, I didn't give a reason, and my impression was that he was thinking it was for something a lot "worse" than it really was.

We had our first swing party here Saturday, now that the remodeling is finally over, and the swing was a big hit with everyone. Only thing is that we've decided we will likely end up getting the electric winch. As was previously indicated, depending on how long the guy's legs are the height of the swing will need some adjusting ("tweaking".... To do that manually involves a lot of straps and what not to raise or lower the thing, and using the winch would make that a lot easier.

As for the industrial-strength eye bolt in the ceiling, my parents were over for Thanksgiving and didn't notice it at all, and for anyone who does, we will just tell them it's for that sky chair we got. As it is, we just purchased a new bedroom suit, and between that and the colors we painted the bedroom as part of the remodel, the hanging chair would actually fit the decor nicely, and fills the "empty" space in the bedroom that the new furniture creates. Besides, once the relations do the initial once-over following the remodeling (and the real attraction in there is the new bathroom, not the bedroom, so everyone makes a beeline for that and don't even bother looking up..., no one's going to be admitted in that room anyway, and we've got the keyed lock on the door to make sure of it...

Overall, the sex swing (it was from that justaswinging.com site) makes for a very nice addition to the place...

Were both of you in the swing at any point? The reason I ask is that we seem to all be about the same in size - bunny & Liz seem to look similar in size from bunny's photo and, with you being called bear, we have to believe that you are built on the same lines as I am. And, if that is the case, then we know there is no issue with support with the swing

I adore the swing. As a BBW I knew these love swings consisting of a few straps wasn't going to cut it. It was a good day when I found justaswinging.com. The other full body swings I'd found were about twice as expensive. The one we got is made for BBWs and extermly comfy. I'm can't wait to try a threesome in it. That was one of the demo videos.
