we have recently bought a beaded cock ring and the first 2 times i used it, it was fine.. but last night was the 3rd time used and now i am having a bit of pain and a slight burning when i piss.. Is there like a time limit to how long you should use them??? i know I'm not allergic so it has to be I'm leaving it one to long has anybody else had this problem?????????????

How long did you leave it on?

I think usually they say 30 minutes at most for those things. That's also one reason it's really good to use adjustable ones instead of those stretchy ones.. you can loosen it as you go.

Burning when you piss is usually associated with some type of urinary tract infection. I am not a Doctor, but I play one on TV. I would say that it is not associated with the cock ring thing and to get it checked out. If your cock was just sore, then I would say yes, it is cock ring related. Milk your penis from the base to the tip and see if any colored discharge comes out. If it does, then you should get yourself checked out before it clogs up and you can't piss at all. Sadly I have seen guys in the jungle of Viet Nam holding on to trees crying when they pissed because of NSU. (Non-Specific Urethurits sp.) Hell, get checked out anyway if your peter hurts. Maybe a cute nurse will check it for you.

well it has eased up as the day went on.. the sore burning feeling is right at the hole and no where else and only started after the use of the ring.. as for how long it was on was about 30-35 min. i was thinking of going to see the doctor but was going to wait a few days to see if it was stress related due to the stretching the ring causes and there is no discharge at all.. but it is pinkish red at the hole and it burns like it's cut but not that bad.. also after i'm though pissing it stops burning..... but to be on the safe side no sex for a cpl of days and going to just use the ring once a week instead of 3 days in a row... thxxx for the replys by the way great site julie

Nearly all pain associated with urination will be felt at the tip regardless of the actual source.
What likely happened is that you constricted the blood in one area of your urethra and it became irritated kind of like a scratch. Your urine burns it because it's acidic. As the "doctor" said if it persists see a Doctor.

I would strongly recommend that you get yourself an appointment with your dr as soon as possilbe. Many UI's and STDs will fool you by not showing any symptoms after showing symptoms initially. Redness and soreness surrounding the urethra opening is a clear indication of somekind of infection present. It is unlikely that the infection will clear itself up. JMHO

We can recommend something quite new on the market over here. It's a small, skin coloured latex doughnut filled with water and it fits round the base of your cock. well it's not any type of std {no unprotected sex with anyone but my wife and she is the same plus she just had a baby a few months ago and tests showed clear} it was just over work and got too much blood to it and it swelled up.. it's all better and i'v used the cock ring 2 times since and didn't leave it on as long and no problems at all
