Do your vibrators always seem not to last, just going dead after seemingly too short a time? You may be using the wrong batteries. NEVER use alkaline batteries like duracell or energizer in adult toys. The way I hear it is those type put out a high current in order to last a long time. This is too much for the low grade of motors used in most toys and slowly burns them up. I use only panasonic super heavy duty batteries. Ther is another kind I think called general purpose also by panasonic that look almost the same but are red. these are ok too. They don't last as long as alkaline but are usually cheaper so it comes out ok in the end. I didn't know this until a clerk at an adult shop told me. I had been wondering why my toys always broke so fast. After I switched I haven't had another toy break yet except 1 and it was because of a wire coming loose from the contact inside the battery pack. Not because of burnout. Hope this was helpful. |

I think it has as much to do with the toy itself as it does the batteries used in it. |

I do go through quite a few of the bullets, but they're cheap and they do last approximately 4-6 months so I don't have any problem replacing them...like Julie said, they lived a goooooddddd life . I also believe it's more the toy itself than the battery...I have one bullet that I've had for probably three years now and it's still going...it was a rather expensive one compared to the others I have and it's my stand-by when the one in use goes to where all good vibrators go.Teresa

I must have just been buying all junk and the only way it would last was to use the cheap batteries.. Happy buzzzing to all! ![]() |

Having worked behind the counter in a toy store for several years, I will say this - avoid the latest greatest expensive models. They may look cool, but remember they also haven't really been tested to see if they are worth the money. Stores won't continue to stock items that are problem items on a regular basis. Ask your clerk for suggestions on the items that they've heard the best things on. And like Teresa said, some of the cheaper items are often some of the best. On bullets most will live a GOOD life, how short it is depends on just how well and often you use it, but I would also look at the construction. Some bullets are just really poorly put together and you can tell if you take the time to look. Make sure that the area where the wires go into the bullet are solid/sealed. Look for eggs that are all one piece versus two halves of an egg put together (the latter is more likely to come apart). Also be sure to look at where the wires go into the controller and make sure that that is solid, as well. I've also found that a lot of times the "kits" that include a couple of different vibrators and lots of attachments - while they may seem like a bargain, are definately a case of you get what you pay for. They tend to not be put together as well. |

I've seen the insides of many toys, and it's some of the crappiest soldering I've ever seen. I'm a computer tech. I've had many wires break I had to go in and repair. The solid connections are definitely important. |
