Being new to swinging, this has been an interesting read. I'm starting to get the idea that maybe it may be more difficult to find compatible play mates than expected. I think we're up to the challange, though . I guess if you have EternallySingles attitude, you can't go wrong. Expect nothing, hope for the best.

Curiosity would probably get the better of me too. Aside from them having a nice profile, I'd have to find out what's behind their name.

Seems like I've heard a similar story, except it was supposedly in a grocery store line. Some sweet little child (not sure if it was a boy or girl) was mad @ mommy for not buying them something, and proceeded to tell her that he (or she) would inform Grandma that they had come down stairs last night & saw mommy " brushing her teeth with daddies pee-pee." Like you said, probably an urban legend, but funny as hell none the less.

Speaking of getting caught by your kids, I'm not sure if it's worse to get caught & know they've caught you or to find out later that they did. My oldest apparently walked in on us when we were getting frisky one night. The only way we ever found out he was there was when my mother in law came to visit for about a week. Her, Mrs. D., & him (he was about 7 at the time) were having a nice family moment just talking & spending time w/ each other when he, for what ever reason, proceeded to tell my mother in law about the time he saw Mrs. D on top of his daddy & we were "rubbing our pee pee's" on each other . Don't know which time it was or how much he saw, but Mrs. D had to leave the room . She must have been 20 sheets of red when she told me about it.

The only one I can think of is being parked at the end of the road w/ Mrs. Dolphins (not recently, we were in our teens ) when we saw reflections of headlights getting closer. At the time, it was a very quiet road so nobody was supposed to be there. When we realized they intended on coming all the way down to where we were, it was panick time. We were in the back of her hatch back Capri (kind of like the old style hatch back Mustangs for those that don't know) & NO window tint whatsoever. I'm sure all these people saw were 2 white asses up against the back glass, scrambeling for our clothing, because they abruptly stopped, threw it in reverse, & did a 180. Guess they weren't into joining in :rollseyes .

Mine's part Cherokee Indian & she gets pretty dark, also. Guess that kinda would rule us out too if you 2 were. All I can say is they wouldn't know what they were missing . Come to think of it, I think I might be just a little bit Indian also . Oh well, piss on 'em if they don't want us.

Living in the south & growing up in a family w/ some strong racist views, I could see that happening around here. For me, it would depend on why they were only wanting white people to attend. It could be that the hosts or organizers of the party & the people in their circle of friends just aren't attracted to people outside of their race. In a case like that, I wouldn't see a problem attending. Now if it's some white supremesist group of swingers, I'm thinkin' we'd not be attending . I can't really speak for Mrs. Dolphins on this one because I've never asked her, but myself, I've seen plenty of women from different races that I've thought were very attractive (as a matter of fact, a certain member of this board whos name starts w/ a P has quite an attractive avatar ) . We're trying to be as open minded as possible going into this. Not what I grew up w/, so it's kind of different in a cool way.

I'm a single guy! Honest I am . What ???? You don't believe me? Oh, the married thing in my profile. That's nothing! I meant, it's like I'm married. Yea, yea, that's it. I meant I keep such a neatly decorated house it's like I'm married. I mean, oh, never mind .

Coming from another newbie on the scene, I have to agree w/ you. We want to watch each other as well as experience different, umm, situations together. Never can tell what may happen down the road, though. Mrs. Dolphins said she's not bi, but I'm always gonna be hopeful about that possibility . But just out of the starting gates, separate play is not an option (yet).

We have not yet, but what has attracted us to the lifestyle are as follows, in order. 1) We want to watch each other get naughty. 2) We like seeing each other happy and at the height of ecstasy. 3) We like sex. 4) To spice things up in an already spicy sex life. 5) It's something we can do together, w/out the kids, that's ours to enjoy. 6) Make new friends that we have something in common with. 7) Anything else I may have forgotten .

Being a straight as an arrow male, I would't want to see 2 guys together @ a party or club. Doesn't mean I'd freak out though. To each his own. But I think straight women seeing other women together doesn't bother them as much as it would guys seeing guys together. Maybe a little double standard or something. For some reason, I've always felt that all women are, at the very least, a little bi-curious. Maybe that could be one of the reasons two women are more acceptable than two men, although I could be completely wrong (I hope not, the all women being a little bi thing I mean ).

I can't answer for Mrs. Dolphins, but I myself would have no problem w/ her using it, as long as she was just using it in general, like you'ld call a friend a buddy, or something like that. The only time I could see it causing a problem is if she got too comfortable using it as a common term, & it slipped out while talking to someone who's unaware of our hobby . Could get embarrassing. As for the 'make love to me' B.S., we don't use that one very often (like, never ). We like the ol' 'f@ck my brains out' . Always seems to work for me, anyway .

I'd be all for changing our rules @ some point, but for right now, I'd have to say condoms are going to be a must. She means way to much to me, as well as our children, to risk that, & I'd hope she feels the same way about me.

What about people snapping gum? SNAP,SNAP,SNAP! Maybe I'm too thin skinned, but that irritates the heck out of me . But I have to say the 'done it all, seen it all ' types get to me, also. I guess it's a toss up.
