  1. Well we haven't been in a couple to couple situation yet. But these are our general rules. No. 1 - don't fall in love No. 2 - no condom no sex No. 3 - no one-on-one sex No. 4 - no one-on-one meetings No. 5 - he or she has to approve of the potential partner. If the opportunity to be with another couple comes up then we will probably discuss more rules.
  2. Okay. I wasn't clinging to this person. Some people prefer to have one night stands. I don't. Through past experience I found that a threesome is even more enjoyable when you're with a friend. The comfort level allows for experimentation and less embarrassment when things don't go exactly right. I think that it was more a rejection thing with this person. I got over it by the next day and have moved on.
  3. okay. Well here's an update. I'm still talking with that person but I've found someone new and have had one encounter already with him. He's a very nice guy and we all get along and he's coming back on Sept. 1 for some more fun. This has been a really good experience for me/us. I do get tired of the one night stand type of guys. I find that having that friendship level really does make sex that much better.
  4. Okay for those of you who responded to my post, thanks for the advice. It was helpful and as always I am on the lookout for more men. lol The guy in question and myself have stayed friends and will continue to do so. And as I put in my original post I don't love him or anything close to that. It was just refreshing to find someone who we (both Hubby and I) clicked with. I absolutely respect his decision and the reason we've remained friends is because he was upfront with me. When he told me about the girl he wants to have a relationship with I told him that I wouldn't stand in the way of something that could potentialy make him happy for the rest of his life. I also made sure he knew the door was open if he ever wanted to have fun with us again. I'm over the "ouchie" now and I'm glad I met him. He really puts a good light on single men. Hope I meet more like him.
  5. Very true Julie or it may not work out. lol I told him the door is always open if it doesn't work out with her. Thanks for the reply.
  6. Okay here goes. Hubby and I found this single guy. He's great. Good lover and he's friends with both of us. Unfortunately the other night he told me that he wants to see this girl and therefore no more sex sessions with us. I didn't take a fit or anything. Thing is it did kind of hurt a little. I'm not in love with him or anything of the sort. I'm just wondering if this is a rejection issue and if this is normal? Any help is appreciated.
  7. Well with us cheating means not telling the other we've had sex with someone else. Hubby and I only swing together though after learning that he can't cope with me going out alone even if I tell him before that I'm going to do it and after what has happened. It's been said on here before that communication is the key to a good relationship and especially important in this lifestyle. Hubby and I discussed at length why it bothered him when I went off alone and he can't handle not know what's going on right then and there. So I've compromised and things are going very well. As for getting emotionally attached, that's a given. Don't fall in love.
  8. Okay I just turned 31 and hubby is 31. We've been swinging for 6 months now (still wet behind the ears and elsewhere lol) Anyway we celebrated our 8th anniversary the day before my birthday. We've been together for 10 years total and friends for 16.
  9. Neither my hubby or I smoke. In fact I'm really allergic to it so we prefer nonsmokers. Not to mention the fact that we don't allow people to smoke in our home. And I personally don't care for the taste of a smoker's mouth. ick. As far as drinking it's okay as long as they don't drink too much too often.
