I tested again this morning and it was still negative, then this afternoon, guess what??? I STARTED!! Yippee!!! Yes, I'm very happy. Thanks to everyone for the advice and thoughts.

Thank you guys so much. And yes, I think that's one of the most scary situations I have ever been with. Just to think of the ramifications of being pregnant by someone other than my husband, even though he was totally accepting, is just too much. To think of how it had the potential to ruin so many relationships such as the other couple, having to pretend to our children and families, and so on and so on.

I am just totally grateful that it worked out the way it did. My shoulders haven't felt this light in 2 weeks.

My husband and I have always used withdrawl and never had a problem with precum. Only one child, when planned. Don't worry yourself. You'll know the answer in a couple of weeks and if your feeling overwhelmed pay the fifty bucks for a blood test. The worst case is really disease, not a sweet baby.

3 monophasic birthcontrol pills are essentially what the morning after pill is. Probably a good idea to keep "a" pack of pills on hand for just such occurences.

In the meantime, worry will do no one any good. Go get a blood pregnancy test if you are really in a hurry to find out - a quantatative HCG would be positive sooner than a urine pregnancy test. Talk to your doctor.

Oh my gosh, you have no idea ShellyM. lol! I was so relieved that day when I started, it was unreal. I'm just glad it all worked out the way it did. After that happened it really made me think. I don't know if full swap is for me or not. For many reasons actually but possible pregnany is definitely one of the main ones. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how life plays out. I do know that I would make sure I had some kind of backup if I ever decided to do it again.

I second this. Also did he come in you? If so be worried, if not think about this. Have you gotten pregnant every time you have ever has unprotected sex and he didn't pull out. The answer is no. Didi you get knocked up in highschool? Probably not.
Another point is that if you are going to be in the lifestyle you should be responsible about it. Get an IUD, the pill or something. I mean come on you are HAVING LOTS OF SEX, get real about it. My wife can't take the pill or the shot, so a MONTH before we ever swung she got an IUD because we THOUGHT IT THROUGH!!!! Come on people grow up.

Well, I mean of COURSE anytime a man releases ejaculate into your body and you are not on any form of BCP you can get pregnant. Yep, thats a fact. This is why until Jay is neutered () we do not play with ladys that are on no form of BCP. I was surprised honestly that there are ladies out here in the lifestyle on no form of birth control. However, I would not panic. Would I do the day after pill? Yes, probably. Would I freak out? Nah. Just take it as a live and learn opportunity. In my opinion if you are here and not on BCP you are really putting yourself in a possible situation. This is also something that the other couple should be made privy to. We were recently talking to a couple and learned that she is not on any bcp and is actually trying to conceive with her husband. We said once Jay has recovered from his V and is given the go ahead by his urologist thats okay, but until then we aren't going to play with them. I think it ticked them off because they haven't spoken to us since; oh well, thats a decision that we made.

I also tried every form of pill on the market and they all killed my sex drive, and I want to try to conceive with my husband soon.

FYI--been doing my own little private experiment on pre-cum for the last 6 years, using only the withdrawal method with my husband as birth control. Never gotten pregnant. Now, I only use it with him because we're married and want a child, so if I get pregnant it's ok. But it still hasn't happened.

I also did a full swap with only a condom for BC and was terrified of pregnancy, so I will not be trying that again until I have a good back up method (hoping to get a non-hormonal IUD after I have a baby)

Personally girl if I were as concerned with the very possibility of pregnancy from another man and you are not on bcp I would just take a break. Once you have your baby(s) and are on a form of bc that you feel comfortable with than return; we aren't going anywhere lol. Well, unless Mr. Spoo starts dating Kate Beckinsale, then he and Mrs. Spoo will be in Los Angeles. LOL.
