Actually, polygamy can be divided further into: polygyny which is specific to having multiple WIVES, while the practice of having multiple husbands would be polyandry.

All these poly-semantics are of great interest but.....how on earth does one find those women (or men - but not for us) who would like to be part of an extended family. I wish someone would start a uk based "I want to be a wife" website. There are plenty of swinging sites and plenty of dating sites but nothing for us who for want of a word are somewhere in between

Have you tried looking on Yahoo or other search engines? I just did a search on Yahoo and came up with the following links:
