I'm not sure what our average is, but I can tell y'all for sure that our average soared during last week's trip to the Meet Up! in Indianapolis. We enjoyed the time alone with just the two of us (no kids) a lot and the long hours driving to and fro, must have whetted our appetite even though most of it was spent reading (Worse Than Watergate by John Dean) to each other.

Maybe meeting all those attractive Swingers Board members had something to do with raising our libido, too, but we won't question the reason. We were really turned on... especially to each other.

I can't tell you how helpful this thread was. My hubby grips sometimes because we only "do it" 2 to 3 times a week, but it seems to me that we are normal ! Wow, normal us? I'm shocked

We have 4 kids at home that go to bed at different times which makes it really hard to work around. Not to mention my auntie has been really, really screwed up. It sometimes visits for up to 2 weeks.

I'd have the doctor take it all out if he would.

Anyway- sorry for the rant. The aunt is here and I'm upset.

I don't believe anyone has brought up a time factor. I think it only fair to consider this carefully.

Let me explain:

Couple A has a ten-minute quickie each day of the week.

10 minutes X 7 days = 70 minutes of sex; just a little over an hour of sex each week.

Couple B has ninety minutes of lusty, indulgent, experimental sex twice a week.

90 minutes X 2 days = 180 minutes of sex; three hours of sex each week.

In defense of my vote.

Mrs. here, I would have to say that ours has increased significantly since we started swinging. from maybe 10 times a month to daily & about an hour and a half each time.

Well with us, normally we have sex 4-5 times a week. But lately, being that Tazzie is pregnant, and in the last weeks of it, our sex life has become pretty much non existant, mainly because of the baby is sitting on her right hip making it painful for her. And right now I (Truck) am ok with it. I am not about to make her do something that is uncomfortable for her.

About the poll though, there have been times where we were having sex about everyday and sometimes more than once a day. But that usually happened when the kids were not around or before we had kids. lol
