How many people to make an Orgy?

I used to have some goofy rules when I did 3-somes, before I met my swinging gal-like...good directions, minimal converstion (no distratctions-communication worked best non-verbal) and low lighting, among many others that gave me a personal ad success rate of an honest 90%.

Point being, that a fantasy we haven't done is a 17 person orgy-and if we DID...it would be so exciting to do it in a dark room. Even a 15 watt lamp would be too much.
Perhaps abit of ambient light. We have met couples in bright light situations. It took Pat's post to remind me of the Total allure of dark room setting and an orgy where people would totally relax and just go with it!

i think that if there is more than 2 people that it is a orgy. Just that the more people the Bigger the orgy

More than 4 is for us and those we hang with an orgy. Under that it is simply swapping/swinging.

Been in a few, numbers have never been an issue...the more the merrier. The best one was all women...wow now that was an orgy

We thought that we had been in a few, but after reading the definitions we realized that we were wrong. It's funny that most of the definitions said that an orgy includes excessive drinking. We have always been way too busy to drink!!

Well, a friend of ours uses to say that an orgy must have odd-numbered people, and we followed his advice accordingly.
Our biggest one was one time at a club where we stayed with 5 other guys in a big orgy room, there were seven of us, all naked and my wife was the only woman ! I must say that it was a fantastic experience for all of us, mostly for her, I can assure !

My first answer was 10. Now that I'm a bit more experienced, I'd like to change my number to 5 or more. I agree it should be an odd number. Otherwise, it could just be a giant swapfest.

Still being newbee's we were at a party last night with about 11 people. When leaving my wife said "so how was your first orgy"? I disagreed that it wasn't actually an orgy. Little did I know, that after reading all the definitions here we were well over the book definitions. Although I did see one or two here who said 17 is an orgy, now that would be a night to remember.
