Age Preference in Swinging

Many, or, most ads from couples who are looking for couples to swing with seem to specify an age group, or, range of ages for couples that they will swing with. What's is your preference, if any when you are considering swapping mates with another couple for sexual activities, whether soft swinging ( no intercourse) or full swap (intercourse with your swing mate included).

Here are the choices

1. Plus/minus 5 years.

2. Plus/minus 10 years.

3. Plus/minus 20 years.

4. plus/minus 30 years.

5. Plus/minus 40 yeaars.

6. Age is immaterial to us. We will play with classy couples regardless of age difference.

Looks and age is pretty irrelevant in our swinging life as well. It pretty much depends on maturity level and personality.

Ok. I voted within 10 years, but that is just probably the age range we are attracted to on average. Much thought is not really put into their age, as I feel like age is somewhat irrelavent.

Although, we tend to look more closely at the mental maturity level of people in general as well as chemistry. It would be much better if there were a standard way to measure maturity, then I could more effectively answer this question with: our answer may be a maturity level of a 30's or 40's couple. However I do realize that doesn't work, because everyone in an age range aren't at the same level of maturity. I cerainly have met enough early 20's individuals that have maturity way beyond their years, and on the other end you have other adults in other age ranges that have the maturity of the average 15 year old.

So my conclusion is: While on average we end up attracted to couples within 10 years, the true determinent for us is some common level of maturity that can't be measured in years in addition to chemistry which is neccessary.

We voted 10 yrs. but actually would swing with couples ore than ten years older just not ore than ten years younger than how old we are now at 33. I would hate to end up as someone's mistake or regret from when they were young and dumb. Probably wouldn't swing with someone who wasn't at least in their late 20's.

We will play with those with the right attitude that we are attracted to. Age does not really matter to us as long as they are legal.

We do tend to lean toward people over 30 years of age but have been known to play with those younger then that.

Could not answer in your poll though. Even the last choice would not fit. We have found that normally those that promote their self as "classy" don't have the attitude that would would be attracted to.

I am sure most feel I have no class but it works for me.

The poll clearly seems to show that the preference for most of us swingers is to play/swing and enjoy sexual intercourse with another couple regardless of age difference. It's our preference too.

Chronological age is just a "number" and may not be indicative of the couple's maturity. So, partner swap for sexual foreplay followed by full-blown intercourse with a couple in their 60s or even 70s can be quite gratifying. The only issue maybe the inability of the male to hold his erection for an extended period of time once he slips his penis in his partner's vagina. As far as women are concerned, provided she is physically fit and sexually active, sexual play and intercourse with an older woman is a delight to be experienced.

I think my preference is a bit wider spread than hubbies. I tend to be attracted to older couples more often. I think in general we both agree than 30 tends to be a starting point but as he pointed out it is much more about maturity than actual age.

Our preference is +/- 10 years. I'm 36 and he's 40, BUT I will say that I find many men my husband's age and older are not as attractive to me (he looks more like he's 30 than 40). We have been with a few couples that are older (oldest has been 47) and that didn't apply however. I'd be pretty wary of under late 20's based on other experiences. We tend to find we fit with those between 30-40 usually.

I simply went with the median age of the couples we have actually played with. Of course, like everything else it's always subjective, always evolving, open for negotiation, and really just more a matter of personality.

We don't have a hard rule regarding the age of our playmates, but while the 53-year-old Sheryl prefers men younger than herself, she doesn't like them too young. We occasionally get email solicitations from 20-somethings (guys with a MILF fetish, perhaps?), but she doesn't take them too seriously because she can't believe that someone that young would sincerely be interested in someone her age.

As a single bi-fem 3rd, I find that older couples (usually around 15-20 years older than me) approach me more often than younger couples. But when it comes to singles approaching me, they usually tend to be within 5 years of my own age. Personally I prefer older couples, in the +10 or more range, because I find that I have very little in common with most people my own age that I encounter, instead I have much better chemistry with more mature people. Not to say that I absolutely wont play with anyone close to my own age - older than me is just my preference.

However, I do think that it shouldn't be based on a number (at least for me), who I decide to play with... Because as was mentioned before in this thread by a few others who have posted already, an age is just a number. In the long run, that number doesn't mean anything, it's just a way to catagorize. I play with people who interest me, stimulate me mentally and physically, and I connect with. Regardless of age - It's better that way! ^_^

We're in the same age range and tend to play with folks 30-55. Just how it is. Mrs. FC4L can't stand guys with nose/ear hair. I've seen plenty of hot 50 something ladies but knew that their hubby wouldn't do for the Mrs. Somebody on here called it a 9 to 5 couple. (She's a 9; he's a 5.)

It's worked the other way too. He was nice looking but she had zero body fat. My lovely wife knew that wasn't happening.

We have a date in two weeks with a 54yo couple. They're hot.

I agree sometimes attraction is attraction, but we usually saty within 10 -15 years of our ages.
