It's me, me, me....all me. Except for when I had that little run in with the van hood and was out of commission for a while. Jim reads the boards at work (I so conveniently found out) but won't make his own name, he uses mine, tho he has sworn to me he won't post on my name without my permission. I won't let him post because he can't type three and four letter words like you, for, are, he uses that stuff and it is like fingernails across a chalkboard for me. So I just type any response he may have, giving him his due credit of course.

I write the posts, my hunny reads some with me, but she spends more time in chats with our r/l friends here in VA - mostly bdsm channels. We do talk about a lot of the posts though.

If it is my understanding that you are hiding yourself because you are French, than I'd like to say "stop doing that!". Speaking for myself -- and I'd hope all Americans agree with me -- feel free to speak as you please, whether you be French, German or Iraq. It is, afterall, the French government that decided to stay out of the war in Iraq, NOT the french citizens themselves. This is a political decision. This is why I don't agree with the folks who dumped french wine into the streets in an effort to show disagreement in the disinvolvement. To blame civilians for their governments decisions is not justice. As someone who grew up in America, I know there's a huge difference....

two weeks ago they did a poll. two thirds of the people in france wanted us to LOSE the war!

This wasnt the leadership talking this was the people.

Now that their economy is slipping they are of course singing a different tune.

I wouldnt instigate a political war online again, but you should understand that the PEOPLE of France hate us. As does their leadership.

1. From what I've read previously, I think you'd instigate a political war online at the drop of a hat.

2. If the French people had you as the model on which to base their feelings about Americans, I could well believe that a population of nearly sixty million and their leadership hate you.

I would suggest that if anyone doesn't like facts then they attack the facts not the messenger though. I did not start this subject, I politely corrected some mis-information.

I find it interesting in this poll that men/women are basically equal in being the sole posters.

I am not sure why but I was of the opinion that (as biased as this will sound) that women are the better typists, therefore would be the ones to respond.

Typical ingrained thinking that women are secretaries and men are bosses.

Too cool to see that it is almost equal on who does the postings. I've learned something new today.

I could tell there was a high number of men posting on the same threads I am interested in

OTHERWISE I would have assumed a higher ratio of women because I thought women like to spend more time talking about sex. AND men being more visually stimulated, I would have thought they would spend their free computer time surfing picture porn.

That is exactly what I find so ironic. My husband is the Visual half. I mean if there is no picture, there is nothing worth discussing. His free time on the computer is spent viewing pictures, not participating in discussions. I just kinda assumed that most men were the more visual ones.

Do you spend an equal amount of time surfing pictures as you do with posting or are you more interested in conversing as opposed to visual pictures?

I am speaking for my husband, but I will say that he surfs pictures all day, but can't comprehend what I get out of posting here. lol. I think that I an definitely more verbal than him.

Same here with my husband... if he has access to our home computer (when I'm not on it) he would much prefer to surf pictures.
