I personally would not consider this any type of swinging.

By using nothing but a web cam I would tend you are either an Exhibitionist or an Voyeur.

Where does the "swinging" come into play?

I guess that it still involves two couples. If this activity in person is considered to be soft swinging, why wouldn't it still be soft swinging if it was by webcam?

If all it involves is watching or being watched weather in person or on a web cam I would not consider it swinging at all. I still feel it is Exhibitionist or an Voyeur related.

"soft swinging" I would consider people that might "make out" with others, maybe some oral but no real sex involved. We have some friends and others at the club that are like that. They save the "sex" for theirself either at the club or when they get home but they will "play" in limited ways with others.

I feel that over the years here people are wanting to be "swingers" so bad that they will call anything swinging.

Well I admit I am very new here but in my original thread on this site, a couple people stated this would be a part of soft swinging, perhaps on the softer end. That, and when looking at "Tame" profiles at Swing Lifestyle, many are only looking for only this type of activity. I would almost think it would still be best to find *couples* at swinger sites the it would be at a regular dating site or a webcam site. I still kind of see it as swinging because it's still the "I get to watch if you get to watch" type of thinking simular to "I get to swap if you get to swap".

We web-cam all the time, find its a great way to hook up with couples and singles. And an even better way to break the ice, it sure makes that first real meet lot more interesting.

It may be voyeurism and exhibistionism, but thats fun to. We do agree that its not really a soft swap, but that happens sometime after a meet & greet anyway.

Yes, I saw your first thread and also saw that Julie was the one that posted about the soft swing. She has her view and I have mine.

A boat floats and a duck floats but that does not make a duck a boat.

Watching is watching, showing off is showing off, that does not make either one of them swinging.

Call it what you want. Does it matter? If you like to watch others and have others watch you then go for it.

Well it seems that wether or not people agree on this it really doesn't matter. There are plenty of "soft swingers" who have no swapping or no touching rules, so appearently there are plenty of people who do think it is swinging and can be found among other swingers. It does appear that most swingers are swappers though...

I don't have any problem with people that are into Voyeurism or Exhibitionism, if that is what blows your dress up, have at it. But if someone has a no touching rule they wouldn't be swingers. I have met a quite a few couples that have a no swapping rule but I have never met a swinger that has a no touching rule, so I would think finding two couples in the lifestyle that are cool with that might be a little difficult. What I'm trying to say is that if I were looking for that I would start at sights specializing in Voyeurs and exhibists not swinging related sights. Soft swinging with someone with a no touching rule would be kind of like trying to ride a bicycle with no wheels, in my opinion.

On the other hand, I'm sure that their are some swingers that are also into Voyeurism/Exhibitionism in addition to swinging.

Are there actually any sites for this? I've seen profiles on Swing Lifestyle that say they are into voyerism/exhibition only, so I know they exist. I know they exist at sites like adultfriendfinder too, but there just seemed to be *more* at swinger sites.

I don't believe it is swinging personally. I believe it is more exhibitionist/voyueristic than anything, kind of like " Hey look what I'm doing" without the actual thrill/pleasure of swinging in the physical sense. I feel that if we are going to watch another couple/group have sex, then we will go get a porn movie and watch a professional!

But seriously, the definition of soft swinging isn't even met by just camming. If you still insist on calling yourself a swinger because you broadcast your webcam, then go right ahead. We just don't call you one, but that's our opinion, and who are we to say, we're just people who have sex with other couples/people without the webcam,
