This is a question for couples that enjoy the swinging lifestyle.

Were both inexperienced sexually when you met, only one was sexually experienced or were both of you sexually experienced when you met?

It depends on what you mean. When I met my wife, I considered myself "inexperienced" because I only had sex with 4 other women, though I had intercourse hundreds of times in many different ways with those 4 women. My wife was definitely inexperienced by any measure of the word.

Part of what we are hoping to get out of swinging is "experience." Not notches on the bedpost, but exposure to new and wonderful techniques. We really want to learn.

We were both married previously but that doesn't always mean expierenced.

While both of us were sexually expierenced and each of us brought our own expierence, I would say it has never been better than since we have met.

We're both open minded and like to expierment. The lifestyle has certainly been something new for both of us.

It's great being married to someone much more "like minded"

We were both in our 30's when we met, and we both had "been around the block a few times" in our younger years. So as far as number of partners, our experience was on the higher end.

Together we have developed our technique and abilities to far above what they were before.

Our first swing experience was together as a couple. Neither of us did any of that prior to meeting each other.

Both of us pretty much slutted our way throught H.S. and college. She started swinging when she lost her virginity in a room full of other people and continued to have sex with guys and a couple of girls from her H.S. group up until she married her ex. I on the other hand had many partners in H.S., college, and military days but didn't swing except for two expierences with my ex wife and military buddies.

For us the Mrs. was the one who was very experienced and had alot of partners.When she had met me i had only been with 3 other women and the times i had sex actually numbered less than 10 times.When we started swinging she really liked it because she got to continue her wild side.As for me i have gotten more partners,more experience,and have satisfied soke of my fantasies.With both of us coming from opposite ends of sexual experiences swinging has added a whole new level to our relationship.

My hubby was married before, and from what he has told me, had his share of experiences before that.

I was (as Vespertine said) around the block a few times. I had swinging experinence as well, but just didn't realize that;s what it was until I officially started swinging with hubby.

I guess we were always both very open about sex.

I am very comfortable with my sexuality and was pretty experienced before we got into swinging. I'd had plenty of partners, been married, and had sex in some pretty strange and exciting places, and even a soft-swap or two. But I had never full swapped.

Mrs. WS had a couple handfuls of men in her past and had been married, but she grew-up in a very religious home and although thoroughly loved sex, hadn't really treaded off the beaten path, so to speak.

Together she started opening-up as we were together longer and the trust in our relationship grew. Swinging just kind of evolved from that. It is kind of the next step in our erotic explorations together.

Dito to mwsw, I had a wild and varied vanilla sexlife before growguy (but no couples/girls) whereas his teens and 20s were pretty empty due to his never being allowed to date plus his extreme shyness... We were glad to find out after 16 years of monogamy that we were both interested in "more, but together". As as aside... growguy hit the "you know you're a swinger when you've slept with more women after your marriage than before" mark on our third playdate!

We were both sexually experienced when we met, not quite as much as we are now but we both had a variety of different experiences before we met.

That is a tough one to answer. My current partner is also my first ex wife. We had both had some experience prior to dating each other. We divorced went our separate ways and reconciled years later. So basing off the first time we were together we were both not virgins had some experience, no swinging involved.

Well, let's see. Prior to my CURRENT partner I had been married and enjoyed swinging quite a bit. Prior to my ex-husband (who I enjoyed swinging with) I was also very experienced (but had not swung).
