Omigod! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that wonders about the people behind the pics. For the most part, we've found that if the pics are bad, it's not only a signal that there's no going to be a physical attraction, there's not going to be a mental attraction.

Without trying to sound snobbish, we are very "in" to people who are professional and have a personality...they're well...cool! We're definitely not "friends first" but we do want to be able to talk to the people we fuck!

And, now that we know what we like, we like repeaters. And if we have nothing in common, nothing to talk about, then that ain't gonna happen.

One woman evidently felt that all she had to show off was her cleavage, because that is is ALL you can see in a picture of her wearing a black dress... make that 3 pictures of her.

Perhaps we need to put together some tips for how to take pics for an ad, maybe. So what things have you seen (besides the obvious crotch shots), that make you wonder why these people opted to use THAT shot?

There is a photo on AFF which has to be in the running for the worst ever. It is a closeup shot of an erect penis, and the penis appears to be suffering from a full blown herpes outbreak.

I saw a pic on SLS not too long ago of a 400 lb. guy sitting at his computer, it was a joke because the profiles were of a younger, thinner couple LOL. Still, it was an attention getter!

I seen something similar on AFF last year, an extreme close-up of the vagina (hairy) & anus complete with hemorrhoids!

It hasn't been said yet in the thread, but there's some people who just shouldn't have profile pics.

For instance, there's a couple in our hometown (who is quite famous on SLS for bugging any and all people who have a profile within 50 miles of them). Their username on SLS isn't needed, but they've got terrible photos. The lady goes around 400 lbs and wears sweatpants and a sports bra in all her photos. The trailer the live in is nasty, just plain nasty. One of her photos has half a kid in it. There are no photos of him to date, but you can mentally fill that image in on your own.

These people really need to take down all their photos. Not only is it obvious what she looks like just by reading her weight, it states it again in her profile. I'm not naive, I know there are some pretty plus size women out there ( like the Lane Bryant models, woo dawggy! ) but it's painfully obvious this is not the case. It's disgusting, both how she portrays herself and the images of her house - not to mention the fact that she doesn't mind putting half a picture of one of her kids up on her profile pics. It's to the point that we dreaded checking our email sometimes, as they'll email everyone within 50 miles of us once or twice a week. We only recently learned you could block people.

People like this need not have profile photos. It'd up their chances at meeting, but even then I imagine people who meet would immeidately turn that class of people down. What's needed is a lifestyle change on their part.

Just a side note, on a site where they have 'levels' of access we had face pictures and I was recognized by someone from work. Luckily nothing has come of it, but we are removing all face pictures from all but password access. I knew this would happen eventually, but I just assumed it wouldn't be 'now'.

^ We don't reveal face pictures until after email contact has been initiated. I can't take any chances of any kind with a student or a student's parent coming across a pic without even having emailed us.

Friend of ours talked to them, they mentioned it.

They are swingers.

Yes I do, but I deal with subcontractors.

The problem was for a while I didn't know who they were but they knew us, not a good feeling.

This is great,

Dog and I are taking pics this weekend for our site.
I told him right off that I did not want my "prize" to be posted all over the internet.

I find most of the pics unflattering. I have pulled a face and carried over some of the pics a couple of times only to see later that their bios are great.
I want outside shots showing me doing MY thing...you willl see next week. I like the candid shots of happy people enjoying themselfs. That is what I want for Dog and I.
Thanks for the ideas guys.
I will keep you posted and perhaps like the other thread you can let me know what I did right or wrong.

Thank GOODNESS someone finally said this!! We were just saying the same thing the other day! This is a picture that is in a way "selling" a couple so to speak to prospective swingers. So you go and put a picture where you are half asleep, no make up, nothin. It trips me out!
