Again on the first question it goes back to who is WILLING to be displayed by the media.

Why are most older? Simply because it takes a stable and mature couple/person to swing and more often than not in order to be both of those you need to have lived some and thus be older. Often they are also on their second (or more) marriage and have learned from previous ones what didn't work and are more willing to try new avenues to find what will work for both parties.

Strange people? that depends on your definition. What makes you think that so many people who swing are strange?

You have to go with your gut when determining whether or not to trust the people you meet. It's a lot like dating in that way. When you were dating you had to do the exact same thing.

I have encountered very few people (I can probably count them on one hand) who use protection for oral sex (that includes both IRL and online).
