My gal and I are both fat..so what? We both know fat can be a turnoff for some people..so be it. Rail thin isnt exactly a turn on for us..but then the real turn on is the sparkle in your personality. ANYONE with the right personality can be fun..and sexual. And thats what this is for. I've been buff..my gal has been buff..but you know what? Neither of us made a point of lording our "fitness" over other people. My point is this..it doesnt matter what you look like..who you really are is other peoples perception of you..and your perception of yourself. If you are so shallow as to dismiss people on their looks alone..well..yer not able to look very deep into yourself ![]() sign us..a fun sexy fat middle aged couple in disguise as a fun sexy fat middle aged couple. |

I've been exercising quite a bit the last 6 months, and I have lost a lot of weight, and put on a lot of muscle. I'm 5'6" and weigh 225. I just had my fat calipered, and according to the kinesiologist, I should weigh about 205 lbs. That's alot for a short guy- but I have a large build, and a fair amount of muscle. So the weight charts are, IMHO, mostly useless. According to the charts I should be around 155, yet I have 181 lbs of lean body mass. Perhaps % of body fat is the more accurate measure? According to the kinesiologist who measured me, for a 40-50 year old man- less than 15% fat is excellent. 15-20% is good. 20-30% is overweight. 30-40% is obese. 40%+ is morbidly obese. Regardless, people have the right to choose who they want based on the way they look. They just shouldn't be rude- that's all. I've been fat most of my life. I feel more comfortable with somewhat over weight people- I'm not as self conscious ![]() -Satyr |

I think it all goes back to what you are looking for in a swinging relationship. If you just want a one night stand, a glory fuck or what have you, then go for what will get your juices flowing instantly. If you are looking for a little something more, then you need to look beyond the physical aspects. Quite honestly I couldn't screw someone that didn't have the same morals and beliefs that I do, regardless of what their physical appearance is. Lori | |

Don't worry about what others think about your body. There are shallow people in all areas. am 5"6', 42E (DD) and yes, there is a bit more of me then there probably should be. However, I am a frisky, loving person, and if someone doesn't want to take me to bed, or finds me unattractive, that is their choice. There are others out there who think (correctly) that I am one hot babe. Those are the ones we have fun with, and the others...well I hope they find their perfect 10.

Perhaps I'm dense. I just can't seem to grasp this whole debate about HWP. If a couple wants to swing and don't find fat people attractive, why wouldn't they let people know this so the people replying don't waste their time, and the couple reading the replies don't waste theirs either. I also disagree that a persons' sexual prefrences makes them shallow. However if someone refused to associate with someone because of their weight, then yes I would say that person could be called shallow (along with a few other things) but calling a person shallow because they don't find you physically attractive is ... unfair at best. It seems that people are offended by the HWP ads because they're being judged on the basis of their weight. How is it any different then an age preference? If you're in your early 30's would you swing with a couple in their 60's or 70's? Likely not. Why? because you're not attracted to them. This seems like such a 'no-brainer' to me it's laughable. If it really bothers people that others are not interested in swinging with them because they're overweight..... try loosing weight! ..... and you'll soon find instead of bitching about those ads, all the sudden you'll be applying to them. |

I was actually going to post a thread that asked what these abbreviations meant (HWP, etc.) Proportionate to what? The US BMI? Silly - you are what you are. Is there a thread I missed in the newbie information that sort of outlines this stuff? |
